When Hermione finally opened the door to Draco's apartment, she was pleasantly surprised at how normal it seemed. The living room had many windows that flooded in light and the furniture wasn't dark and gothic like she had imagined it would be.

She followed Draco to the spare bedroom and dumped her belongings. They went to the lounge, hand-in-hand.

"Sorry that there isn't a TV, I haven't got the money for expensive things like that anymore."

"Draco, do you realise I've never had a TV in my life? I'm not your girlfriend because of money or anything like that." He walked up behind her and she leant into his arms as they wrapped around her small waist.

"Then why are you my girlfriend?"

"Hmm, probably just your charming personality." She said sarcastically and he chuckled, his chest vibrating against her back. She turned around and pressed her lips to his.

"So Miss Granger, a little more confident out of Hogwarts are you?" He said when she pulled away. He smirked at her blush.

"I just figured that we don't have to hide from anyone anymore, so we can start acting like a normal couple."

"Well I wouldn't try too hard because I don't think we will ever be 'normal'."

She untangled herself from his arms, her excitement showing on her face. When she lived with her parents they lived in a small suburb away from the city, so the thought of the tall buildings and amazing restaurants still thrilled her.

"So have you found any nice places around here?" She asked.

"Truth is, I've rarely been anywhere except work and the grocery store."

"Well come on then, I want to show you around."

Hey guys, sorry to interrupt but for anyone who hasn't seen my status I'm still updating some chapters. This means a couple of things don't really make sense but they are pretty minor.

I'd like to know if anybody has any stories they've written because I'd love to read them. Comment or private message me if you do!

I'm not sure if you understand how excited I get when I get a notification that someone's commented on my story, so if you like something please tell me and I'll try and include more of the same type of thing or vice versa if there's something you don't like.

I'm really sorry this chapter is short but life's a little busy at the moment and I wanted to upload something for you.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COMMENT but I'd also be really grateful if you were to vote and follow me!

"So hang on, I have to throw this... 'bowling' ball down there to try and knock over the white things. What were they called again?"

"Pins. And yes that's right. It's a popular muggle hobby."

"For some reason I don't believe you. People can't actually play this stupid game. You're playing me, I'm going to throw it like you said and everybody's going to laugh."

"Draco, for somebody who was always so arrogant you don't have a lot of self-confidence." She muttered, smirking. "Look at everybody else, they are all doing it. I promise I won't laugh."

He rolled his eyes and sighed but eventually turned around and started towards the lane. His head turned to the side as he watched a man run up to the line and swing his arm, knocking every pin down. He backed up and took off at a run, but swung his arm too late and by the time he let go of the ball he was past the line. His feet slid out from under him and he fell straight on his behind. The ball skidded into the gutter and Hermione burst into laughter. He groaned and she walked clumsily over to him, barely able to breathe. He slowly got up and glared at her but soon began laughing as well.

"You promised you wouldn't laugh."

"Yeah but I had my fingers crossed."

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"I feel like such a muggle when I'm around you." She said rolling her eyes. "Do want to keep playing or do you want to get dinner?"

He thought for a minute before picking up a ball and lining up his shot. As he prepared to run, she hurried over to him and pulled him close to the line. "How about we just start simple this time. Now, just pull this arm back and aim for the middle." His second attempt saw him receive 5 points, his third 7 and by the end of the game he'd gotten a strike.

"For a wizard you're pretty good at this bowling thing." He smiled at her and a thought cross her mind. "You aren't putting a spell on the ball are you?" She asked, menacingly. He denied it and she smiled, clearly impressed.

"Hey that reminds me, why don't you have a go?" They had paid for her to play but Draco had become obsessed and she let him have her turns.

"Oh no, it's okay we should probably get dinner. It will start getting really busy in the restaurants soon."

"I don't think so, Granger. I embarrassed myself, it's your turn now." He said amusedly, holding a ball out to her. She took a deep breath, grabbed the ball and walked up to the line. Her arm swung back but she let go too early and the ball sailed into someone's lane around 5 metres away. The man using the lane stepped into view and Hermione saw that he was wearing a uniform and expensive bowling shoes. He looked angry at the distraction from his intensive training session and Hermione blushed and stammered an apology while Draco laughed unashamedly, clutching his stomach.

He grabbed her hand and they ran out of the place as the man stomped to the front desk asking for someone to remove the ball. They burst out through the door, laughing. Their smiles never left their faces for the whole night. Even when the lights were off and they laid in bed, her face glowed with contentment. She wanted to do this with Draco forever, and realised that went she left school she could. They could spend the rest of their lives together. Is that what she wanted? As she look back on the day they had spent together, she realised she never wanted to leave Draco's side.

But was that what Draco wanted?
