Sasuke had woken up early that day. Usually, he was never excited for school reopening. But this time, just two weeks seemed to pass like months and he was growing impatient. He had to see (Name). After he told her what he felt about her, Sasuke had tried his best to avoid seeing her. He even stopped visiting Shion to avoid running into her. He didn't want to pressure her into thinking about an answer. Even if she still said that she needed more time, he was ready to wait. But he wanted her to think about him properly. After that, he decided that he didn't really mind if she didn't reciprocate his feelings - after thinking about him, that is.

If Sasuke was being honest with himself, he really did not expect (Name) to like him back. After all, his actions weren't exactly very likeable and he knew that better than anybody else. But he still thought that maybe he stood some chance. And even if (Name) rejected him today, he was going to hold on to that chance and try to win her over. He couldn't just give up. His feelings for (Name) weren't that weak. She was the first girl he truly ever liked. She was different from the rest. And she made him truly realize what a shitty personality he had and made him want to be a better version of himself. And that was why he liked her.

"Why are you in such a hurry today ?" Mikoto asked as Sasuke rushed into the kitchen. She hadn't even finished making breakfast yet.

"School stuff." Sasuke grabbed the carton of orange juice from the fridge and drank straight from it and shoved it back inside. Before Mikoto could scold him for it, he was already out of the kitchen. She sighed and shook her head. Shion had told her about what was going on but she hadn't let Sasuke get an idea about it because she wanted him to open up to her by himself. Even if she hadn't known, she would have guessed something is up because Sasuke is never excited about anything related to school.

Sasuke had to meet (Name) before school. He was going to wait for her outside her house. He knew she left early so he had to be there before she left. He did not want to hear her answer at school with a chance of so many people eavesdropping. The last thing he wanted was rumours to spread.

If Shion and Naruto hadn't forced him, he probably would have taken another year to confess his feelings. Or probably never would have. He just would have waited for (Name) to realize it by herself - which, thinking about it now, seemed very stupid because she was dense when it came to such matters. Even if he got rejected today, (Name) would at least be conscious of him. He wasn't planning on giving up so maybe he stood a chance in the future, if not today.

As (Name)'s house came into his sight, he picked up speed and started running towards it. It was seven in the morning and about time she left for school. But as he neared he saw a truck parked outside her house and people carrying furniture from her house to the back of the truck. Sasuke frowned in confusion. He never knew she was moving houses.

Standing outside with a coat wrapped around himself to shield him from the chilled morning weather was (Name)'s father, watching the men carry all the stuff. Sasuke immediately walked up to him.

"Oh. Uchiha's youngest son, Sasuke, isn't it ?" said (Name)'s father, Hisashi, before Sasuke could say anything.

"Yes. Good morning, sir," said Sasuke, but he kept looking around for (Name). With her father here and in the middle of the moving process, he doubted he could talk to her. And why hadn't anybody told him about this ? Was she changing schools too ?

"Good morning, son. What are you doing here so early ?" asked Hisashi.

"I had something to talk about with (Name)." Sasuke hesitantly said. He had a very bad feeling about this.

(Name)'s father's eyes widened and he looked confused for a minute, but he was quick to compose himself. He sighed and looked at Sasuke.

"I thought she would have told her friends," he murmured, but Sasuke caught it. He then turned to look at Sasuke with an awkward smile on his face. "She moved in with her mother last week."
