I Was just a Blank Space

chapter 3

Waking up I could hear screaming everywhere, God those kids are loud. I could faintly hear the twins yelling at ben, I then could hear aunt Jill trying to get harry dressed that always end up into something crazy. But then another voice made my ears prick.

"Mum where is Kate?" his voice id deeper but I guess you get that after a year of not seeing him.

"She is in the spare room" Aunt Jill's reply seemed strained and my guess was she was trying to get Harry dressed. That's when I felt the heavy piece of human next to me that is named Kate. We must have feel asleep talking last night.

"Kate what are you doing in her.."Aiden's voice stopped so I lifted my head to look at him.

"Hey Aiden" giving him a quick wave I drop my head and shut my eyes again, my voice was groggy and my breath must stink. Kate started shuffling next to me and my guess was she just woke up.

"Shit Alex you're a bed hog". Oops she sounds tired, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't know Aiden's at the door.

"ALEX!" that's all I heard before something heavy landed on me.

Aiden and I weren't close when we were younger he would always prank me but after he moved we started talking over skype a little more and that's when we became closer.

"Get off me you fat idiot!" god he was heavy

"Aiden Get off us or I'm going to kill you!" yup he was on Kate to.

"Fine no need to be angry". You know killing him does sound nice right now.

"You almost killed us Aiden!" Kate was whining a little bit.

Aiden jumped off of us and stood next to the bed waiting for us to get up. We both were still dressed in yesterdays clothes except the fact that we took our shoes off. Kate and I slowly got up but we were a little slow at doing so.

"Aiden is there a reason you dropped in on this very fine morning?" Sarcasm was a well-known language for Kate when she was tired.

"Well I was going to talk to you about going on a trip with me and the boys but instead I came to find this kid." Ruffling my hair he turned to me and pulled me in for a hug.

"Hey Aiden" I smiled up to him. Aiden was tall and I mean tall, you could also say that he was a little good looking but that's not for me to decide. Just like Twins he had brunette hair and dark eyes. He took after his father a lot same as the twins. Kate was different though, she didn't look like her mother or father, except for the green eyes she had and the slightly strawberry blonde hair. She was beautiful.

"Alex, what are you doing here?" he let go and looked down to me, the faint smile was close to being a frown but he still had the look of happiness in him. I am guessing he is concerned about why I am here and not in Australia.

"Mum and I needed some time and I needed change" smiling reassuringly he just nodded and kept the same smile on his face. I walked over to the window and had a look outside.

"It looks a little cold outside do you think that I could borrow some clothes?"

Kate just smiled and nodded. Kate and I were basically the same size so we always borrow each others stuff. "How long are you here for then?" Aiden was smiling a lot more now.

"Just for my senior year, after that I'm leaving. I promised dad that after senior year I would be ready, its the least I can do for him and the others aren't here to do it so its up to me." I smiled grimly towards him and walked over to him.

"Aiden I know you have already noticed a change in me but don't worry its a good change, I'm still going to be my old self with you just not going to be the push over anymore and I will take dads legacy on." I hope all these smile help him realise that I want this, that I want him to be there for me the whole way and that I want him to accept my new life path.
