One More Chance

Chapter 1: Staring

She just stares outside, waiting for him to come back. She wants him to come back. Waiting. She waits, she would wait until forever if she has to. She waits, eats alone, thinks about life, still waiting for him.

He was happy that he left her. He found another person, and he thought that he found the right girl, or so he thought. Now he's sad and lonely. Sadness. Loneliness. He wonders why he ever left her. He wonders what happiness is again. He wonders how he'll be able to ever love again.

She found a person. She found the right man for her. The man that makes her whole again, the man that'll make her happy again.

He runs, he runs like he's never ran before. He finally came to his senses that he wanted her for the rest of his life. He realized that he was wrong, that he made a mistake. He was wrong in leaving her. He pants as he reaches her house. He looks inside her window. Then he sees...

The girl and her new love were having a great time eating their dinner together. Its like how she always wanted, peace and love. They were in the middle of a conversation when her eyes wandered off to her window when she sees...

He makes eye contact with her, and she makes eye contact with him. He looks at the person in front of her. His heart breaks slowly. He starts to cry. The girl recognized him. She was mad but she felt a little remorse for the guy. Rain starts to pour. The man made one last glance at her face. He smiles then turns away. He runs, runs away from her, he runs away from his feelings.

She turns back to her lover and replies back to him like she never saw anyone but him.

He enters his home, and lands on his sofa. He cries like he has never cried before. Sadness. A feeling he had to face again in his life. He feels tired. He then sleeps on his couch.

She lays on her bed thinking about him, she thinks about him when they set eyes at each other for the last time.
