One More Chance

Chapter 2: Waiting

She wakes up to find her new lover not there beside her. She won't accept that he left her. She can't accept another heartbreak so she ventures off to find him.

He wakes up to the sound of birds chirping and his sadness seems to have led him to the corner of a street. He wonders how he ended up here. For some reason also, the street looked familiar. He ignores the fact on how he ended up at a corner of some strange street. While walking back to his apartment room, he remembers something. He had a dream that he met someone back at that street but it seemed to be dark so he assumed it was night. He arrives in his apartment room and lands on his chair.

She returns back home with no one to accompany her. He left her. She can't believe that she had to fall for the wrong person again. Wait. She remembers something, or someone...

He gets a call from an unknown number. He answers it and the caller's voice seemed familiar, too familiar, as if he fell in love with her voice before...He remembers that it was her, the girl he fell in love with that he strayed afar from. He was asked if they could meet at some alley near her house. Wait. He remembers now. His dream. He remembers his dream, the girl was the person he saw at that street. He was a bit hesitant though. He's curious why she would call him and tell him to meet her at some weird alley. As he prepares to leave, someone knocked on his door. He approached the eye locket of his door and sees his neighbor. He opens the door and they talk. His neighbor tells him about some girl that was looking for him earlier. He thought that maybe it was her. The girl who he loved and started to love again. He bids farewell to his neighbor and sets off into the same alley he ended up earlier.

She puts down the phone. She puts her phone up again and calls her best friend. She arrives thirty minutes later to give advice to her on what to do. The conversation ends in silence as the advice was to plead and apologize for what happened in the past. She was apprehensive to what the plan was since the guy was the first to initiate their break-up anyway but she went with it anyway. She says bye to her best friend as she leaves her house. Then she dresses up in the dress she wore when they met each other at first. She leaves.

He hurries up and runs to the meeting place as fast as he can since it was fast turning night. He wasn't cautious about anything. All he had in his head was that he was gonna meet his one and only lover that he wants for the rest of his life. He runs by a road then

CRASH

All he hears now is the sound of his blood gushing and his heart beating faster than a jet. A bystander saw the incident and called an ambulance. He was brought quickly to the hospital.

The girl took her time and walked slowly. She was analyzing a lot of things like should she get back together with him or no? Should she forgive him or no? Truth is, she'll have no other choice. As she passes by a block from her house, she hears sirens in the nearby distance. She runs to see what had happened. She sees two people lifting a guy up on an ambulance. Wait. She notices the person being lifted up. She cries as she runs. She explains to the first aid doctor that that's her boyfriend. She boards the ambulance and looks at his closed eyes. She wasn't sad just beacause of the accident, she was also sad that she didn't get the chance to let her see his eyes again. They arrive at the hospital and was quickly rushed to a surgeon.

He wakes up clueless why he was in a hospital. He wonders who was the person sitting on the chair beside him. All he knows is that she looks pretty. She asks if he is okay, he didn't answer instead he retaliated with a question "Who are you?". The girl went silent for a while. She leaves the room to find the doctor without even saying anything to the guy. She returns back with the doctor. The doctor said "I'm very sorry miss, but your friend over here is suffering from amnesia due to a concussion on his head during the accident"...
