"This is the last time we do this together huh?" T asked watching Tk and Aj clean up the place.
I looked over to the wall where our fathers pictures hung. "This is the last time I do this.....for forever." My eyes met with my cousin who had a understanding smirk placed on her face.
"I was hoping you'd say that......you need to be there for Austyn.....she really loves and cares for you Jacey." She wrapped her arm around my neck and kissed my forehead. "I have no doubt that you are gonna be ok now." I laughed and dabbed her up.
"Go home to your gf I know she is waiting on you." We hugged for what seemed like forever. "I love you T,you're the best cousin in the world......you take care of yourself out here." I pat her shoulder and walked to my car.
Before I reached the door I turned back to her.".....you can come chill every once in a while nigga...if you're not to busy." I chuckled as T did the same waving me off.
It was going on 2 a.m., didn't think to call Drea to let her know I was on my way to her. She has been on my mind since she left. I love her with all that I am,and I'll do whatever it takes to keep her. I honestly don't want her around that shit anyways.
She wasn't freaked out like I thought she would be,but that doesn't matter....the look in her eyes when we were torturing Riley. It's as if she was in another world but not a world I would want her to be apart of.
Arriving home I see the lights are still on.I walked in and was hit with the smell of my lovers scent. African raw shea black soap and coconut filled the house. Locking the doors and turning off the lights in the front part of the house, I glanced inside our room. Laying under the black sheet was the love of my life.
She looked so peaceful and amazingly beautiful. Making my way to the bathroom I take a shower removing the last couple of hours from me. After showering and drying off, I slipped on just my boxers then proceeded to go join my baby.
Climbing into bed next to her I take in her scent while placing kisses on her cheek to her neck,squeezing her tight to me. "You're finally home!" She yawned snuggling into me. Home..... I never thought in a million years that I would call this being curled up in bed with her.....home.
"Bae?" She calls me out my thoughts. "Yeah I'm home baby....I'm home." I placed my face in her neck. We sat in silence for five minutes before she turned over facing me. At first her eyes were shut,but slowly opened up to meet with mine.
Her eyes stared deeply into mine as I searched through her soul. "You love what you see?" She asked interlocking her legs with mine. In all reality I was lost in her gaze,she was truly beautiful inside and out. "I do...never change it for anyone." I placed a kiss from her forehead to her lips.
"Sooo about tonight......" I gulped as she made a face. "You never have to worry about this ever again......I promise." She searched through my soul to confirm if my words were true.
"I believe you.....and thank you....I'm sure your father would have wanted differently of your life than that."
She buried her face in my neck after breaking from our kiss. "Love me now and forever." She whispered drifting back to sleep. "Wouldn't have it any other way." I laid in silence for bout 10 minutes talking to my old man
"Thank you for protecting me. I know you been watching over me since you left your earthly home. I know you didn't want me mixed up in this crazy world you built around me. If it wasn't for Austyn....I'd wouldn't know how strong the love of a woman who loves me was. You was the only person that truly loved me pop and I never thought I'd get a love like that again. If you can thank her old man for implanting that kind and caring heart within her.
