My first small Ghost fic.....

Something short that I thought up this morning!

If he had to answer another question concerning Dave Grohl, he was going to pull his hair out. 'Yes, a very kind guy, and no I cannot confirm nor deny that he ever preformed as a Nameless Ghoul...'

This ghoul, lovingly referred to as Special, trudged back into the tour bus after a particularly brief interview. The interviewer was nice enough, it was just that the questions were always the same.

Special massaged his hands into his neck and sighed. Their set wasn't for another three hours and it seemed the other ghouls were taking advantage of that and left the bus without a soul in it. Peace and quiet.

He was already fully dressed and masked, and in no mood to take it all off then put it back on anytime soon, so he'd have to find something to do to pass the time. With a literal snap of his fingers he remembered that he'd left his copy of Lords Of Chaos on the end table. He was letting Water borrow it, but he was sure the bassist wouldn't mind if he borrowed it back for an hour or so.

Making his way towards the 'living area' he stopped when he heard a muffled noise. He peered around a corner and nearly jumped at the sight of a figure lying on the floor a bit away from the couch. One of his band mates was sleeping on their stomach and sprawled out rather inconveniently - completely dressed and masked.

Special crept closer and realized the noise was actually music. He could barely make out what the vocalist was saying:

"- a man after midnight. Take me through the darkness to the break of the day~"

Special snorted once he realized what it was. He got closer to the dormant ghoul - it was obvious by now that it was Omega, judging by his apparent height and music of choice being ABBA - and discovered an ancient-looking, portable CD player clutched in the ghoul's left hand, spinning away. A thin cord went from the headphone jack and disappeared beneath Omega's mask. Judging by how loudly the music could be heard even outside of the mask, the volume was most definitely all the way up.

Was he trying to beam the music straight into his soul?!

The song changed from "Gimme Gimme Gimme" to "Lay All Your Love On Me" and Special remembered what he was doing in the first place. He grabbed his book from the end table, pausing to gaze at the couch. Something wasn't sitting right with him.

His eyes showed the smirk that was growing beneath his mask. Special sat down next to Omega's sleeping form, and reclined to rest his head on the cushion of the guitarist's lower back. He found great comfort in the rise and fall as Omega breathed autonomously.

Special crossed his legs and opened up his book. A final peace. He held a great book in his hands, ABBA was playing softly in the background...

And he had one hell of a pillow.
