Chapter 22

"Oh you aren't wearing your couple ring anymore?" Wendy asked.

We all look at my ring finger. It's been 3 days since I'm not wearing it.

"Are you finally going to let go of him?" Seulgi asked.

"I deserve to be happy. Ever since he broke up with me, I was in pain and you girls knew that." I answered.

"Is that your final decision, Joy?" Irene asked.

I nod. "Final decision."

"He's here again." Yeri said.

We all look at to where Yeri is referring to. It was Sungjae, again. Sitting in the bench near the canteen. He's probably waiting for Sunghyun to finish her classes.

"Let's go to the canteen. I'm hungry." I told them.

"Are you really hungry or do you just wanna pass by Sungjae?" Seulgi teased.

The girls laugh and teased me. I glared at them and that made them stop.

"Who's going with me, is going. Who's not, is not." I stood up from the bench and starting to walk away from them.

"Yah Joy! Wait for us!" Irene shouted.

Then they walk beside me.

"Are going to say hi to him?" Wendy said while putting her arms in my shoulder.

"You should say 'hi' unnie." Yeri said.

"I won't say a thing if he won't notice me. He might think that I'm getting his attention." I told them.

"Aren't you?" Seulgi teased once again.

"She's hungry for his attention." Irene unnie said then the four of them laugh while clapping.

"Shut up! We're getting near him." I muttered.

Our gazes meet but he look away immediately. I also look away to avoid the awkward situation. We passed by him and went in the canteen.

"Oh did he just ignore you?" Seulgi asked.

"I don't care." I told them and went to the sandwich station.

"Yah Btob is here!" We heared someone shouted. It was Jungkook and he was with the bangtan boys. They passed by and V suddenly stopped infront of us.

"You stay here." He said while pointing at me then he went out with his friends.

We all look out the canteen. Btob was walking and looking around. It's like they're looking for someone.

"Why are they here? Did the bangtan boys did something again?" Yeri said.

"Just leave them alone. It's their trouble not ours." I told them.

The vendor handed me the sandwich then I payed for it. We decided to sit down for awhile in the canteen.

"Why did V told you to just stay here when btob came?" Irene asked.

"Maybe he just want to protect Joy." Wendy said.

"From what?" Seulgi asked.

My eyes went wide and I drop my sandwich on the table. I stood up and my friends look at me.

"Why? What's wrong unnie?" Yeri asked.

"Sungjae." Then I immediately went out the canteen and my friends followed me.

I was right Btob is here because of Sungjae. Students were gathering around them. Sungjae was still sitting on the bench calmly while Btob was infront of him and bangtan boys at the middle of them.
