"SSSHHH, there coming,"
"Im not sure about this man I'm going to scare them I look horrible,"
"Hey dude just chill you'll be fine" Dudley tried supporting Raymond as much he could, Raymond's breath was heavy and his eyes locked. He approached slowly trying not to make a sound, he straightened his back and held out his hand, reaching for the girls shoulder. Nothing could prepare him for what he was about to do. He took a breath, then spoke.

"Hey Amanda I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me...maybe?" Raymond asks out his school crush, he even dressed up in a white suit and tie to look like a gentleman.
"Of course Ray, I'd  love to." Amanda spoke in a small mellow tone, her friends watched behind her with wide eyes and gasping breaths, she was first of all the girls to get to date Raymond.

They arranged to have a picnic at the park together, then returned back to their friends. "Yes mate see I told you she would say yes." Dudley was Raymond's overly supportive best friend, and this time Raymond was glad that Dudley persuaded him to ask her otherwise he would never have even spoken to her.

Raymond was a very sociable young boy, he was only 13 years old and he lived in a village where he was known and loved by all the residents, he enjoyed helping the villagers in their everyday life and sometimes he would earn pocket money to buy his friends some sweets. Although he was a nice boy he had a bad habit of taking risks and particularly loved to climb dangerous obstacles at night, his mum warned him of the dangers but he was determined to climb the biggest tree in beaver county.

Raymond was standing in his neat bedroom, staring at a wide range of smart tops and cardigans. "Oh dear" Ray had never been on a date before and it was nerve wracking to prepare for one. "Girls love pink you know," Rays mum had appeared behind him peeking through his door. "But she's not a typical girl she would appreciate a light blue over a pink," Ray had planned the date 100 times he knew what Amanda would like. "Just remember darling it's not about the clothes that you wear or the way you comb your hair, it's about making her not want another boy ever again," his mum held him by the shoulders then pulled him into a warm hug.

Raymond left the house wearing a light blue top and a dark blue cardigan with a bouquet of roses in his hand, he headed towards Amanda for their first date.
