Chapter 6-Getting Ready

        That night I wrote a long note to Chloe explaining everything, I'm so glad Jason had my back. If he didn't I would have been so embarrassed. Chloe thought I was being a little evil but she went with it. You see I'm not that kind of girl that cares about beauty as much as some people. So I had Chloe do my wardrobe and makeup, because she is into that stuff. If was really early in the morning when Chloe knocked on my bedroom door. Apparently my mom let her in, and she was carrying so many bags. Right away she had me shower to "look fresh" she said. Then she went crazy on my face. I'm not gonna lie, I kinda liked all the attention.

     After she finished with makeup she had me change into this outfit. Then she did the big reveal, and I thought I was looking at a different person. I loved it, but I knew I couldn't do that myself every day. For once in my life I felt extremely confident in the way I looked. Now time for school.

    As I walked into school I don't think anyone knew who I was. But I did get a lot  more smiles and more people said hello. I wasn't used to this, and it felt weird. I felt like I was in a higher class. Everyone treated me better and were very kind to me, usually people ignored me. I got many compliments but mostly on my hair. Chloe did great, she curled my brown hair and made out look less dull. I felt beautiful.

       It was lunchtime when I saw him. His friends where for forcing  to sit with me, I could hear them from a far. They stopped talking when they saw me. I had one of them start flirting with me, asking me if I was new and if he could show me around. I ignored him and walked straight to Ryan. I stayed talking to him about what movie we were gonna see, I tried to act cool. That is when he realized if was me. If took him awhile to process it, but it also did for me. Then he opened his mouth to talk.....
