Chapter 7-What He Said

As he opened his mouth to talk what came out is something I didn't expect. He said breathlessly "You look beautiful." As he said the words he took long pauses before saying them as if he forgot what he was going to say. I just stood their and I could feel my face turning bright red. I expected him to say "wow" or "this is new" and not a compliment. I thought he hated me but turns out he didn't. The whole lunch I sat next to him and we talked, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. He just kinda stared at me the whole time. I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed it a little.

After lunch Collin came up to me. Collin is Jasons twin brother, he is also one of my friends. He plays running back on the football team. Well he comes up to me and smirks, then he says "You and Ryan seriously." I nod and he looks at me sideways. I guess no one saw it coming, not even me. Then the bell rings, Collin says bye and walks away. Soon after a minute the whole room is empty and everyone went to their next class. I just had study hall so I stood there for a bit, thinking. You know my whole plan on revenge, well I was kind of regretting it. I wasn't sure yet but Ryan seemed like a nice guy, and I didn't want to hurt his feelings.
