Work has been slow, but I guess the past few weeks have made up for it since Dom makes me go to the gym almost everyday, no only that, but when I go to visit my dads house my bestfriend, Ryan, makes me workout with him too. Ryan is in football, swimming, wrestling, and band - talk about a busy schedule - Now I know what you're thinking, this guy has to be huge to be able to do all that stuff, no, Ryan is like a 6ft. tall Bruce Lee. He's ripped, he has a crazy amount of stamina, and above all that busy schedule stuff he still manages to get a full 8 hours of Zs every night. Him and I hang out any chance we get since I rarely see him but he has had my back since we were born, one time he saved my life from a falling ceiling fan -no joke-

"JORDAN! GO CLEAN SCREEN 7!"

"yes Mr. Anderson" My boss is a complete dick by the way. I walk into the theater and there is like no trash, Dom trails behind me "well we better act like we are cleaning just incase the boss comes in" Dom says as he hurries up the stairs to the top isle and starts sweeping

*sigh* "I guess so" I start sweeping the lower part of the room and I look down at my shoes because I feel like I had stepped on something. Surprisingly I can see my shoes "wow!" I exclaimed "what's the matter J?" Dom said

"Dude I can see my feet!" I yelled. I guess a couple of weeks of working out really make a difference, I didn't notice before but I actually feel more energetic now more than ever before.

At that point I decided that I would keep going to the gym and working out with Dom and Ryan

A couple weeks past and I have just been dropping the fat and gaining the muscle, I'm about 200 and I'm looking great, my stamina is high. These few days at dads have been crazy, my cousins are moving down from New Mexico and my Dad is making me clean up the house and my room since one of my cousins is gonna be with me in my room. He's really cool, and he loves video games and comics -guess that makes two of us- Ever since I was a kid, I've loved comics, Spider-Man  and Robin have always been my favorite, they've always been so charismatic but they also have a dark side to them. I think Robin is my favorite since he can do so much stuff yet he has no powers to aid him in battle.

"what are you gonna be for Halloween Jordan?" my cousin Kaden said as we walk through the Halloween store, he grabs some stuff then puts it back not looking really amused at anything. We reach the masks and he tries stuff out. "I think I might be robin this year" in fact, I have been planning to be Robin since last Halloween, I ordered a bunch of armor and stuff off of the internet to go onto my under-costume and a sweet mask that's made from leather and is fitted to my face.

I've always believed that the mask is what makes a hero, a hero. It's what hides him from everyone, what makes him different, it's what protects the people he loves from harm.

"yeah that sounds like a good choice, I think I might just grab one of these skeleton masks and do that, anyways it is just one night a year" he grabbed a skull mask and a black robe and some eye makeup and we checked out.

After a few days of working out and eating right, I hear a knock on the door, my packages had came. I went up to my room to open them "are those your costume things?" Kaden asked while his eyes were still on the screen playing videogames.

"yeah, lets check them out real quick and ill go try on the costume" I opened the packages and the items where awesome, of course I tried on the mask first and it felt an looked amazing. "what are those?" Kaden pointed to the arm gauntlets with the spikes coming out of the sides like batman wore, "those help with blocking sword attacks and such" I explained with enthusiasm, I continued to open my packages, my shin guards, gloves - everything I need for my Robin costume is now complete

"Man this is awesome!" I said "I love all of this, I'm gonna look like him." for a moment there I thought I went full comic mode, but I held it down.

"Hey J, if you're so Into superheroes and stuff, why don't you email that one in Seattle?" Kaden asked me in wonder

"Which guy?!" - "He's an actual superhero, like Robin, in Seattle."

Naturally I looked him up, and sure enough, he's real. I tried on my costume and I still look a little bit pudgy toward the bottom of my stomach.

well now I have my Halloween costume, but I'm still feeling some type of way about that guy from Seattle, and the cool thing about him is that he doesn't just roam the streets looking for bad stuff to happen -he helps out homeless people get to shelters, he helps out with charities and stuff like that- why can't anyone here do that? like Ryan, he has everything except for fighting skills which I can teach him since I'm a black belt in Tai Kwon Do, Brazil Martial arts, and Karate. Of course this was before I was fat.

After I thought of that, I went over to his house to discuss all of this to him, maybe he could be.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

Ryan opened the door and smiled in excitement, he didn't know I was at my dads this weekend.

"How's it going my dude!?" he exclaimed "come on in broski"

I went in and slouched on the recliner, he trailed behind me and sat on the couch

" OK so, I have some news to tell you"

"yeah man, what's the dealio?"

-"I think you should be a vigilante"-
