It was Christmas eve, and I couldn't not be less excited about it. I'm not ready to get to get married yet. I haven't lived yet. I spent most of my time at the basketball courts, the gym or getting high with big Mike. I just can't wrap my head around getting married. I can barely look after myself, let alone another person.
Currently I was sitting on the couch in the living room watching ELF.
"John honey will you go pack your things for Kansas please"
"Yes momma" I headed to my room and packed all my stuff neatly in suitcases. I pulled out the tin can from under my bed. I got out my rolling paper and rolled a blunt. I smoked the blunt. I laid on my bed and closed my eyes. What is going to happen to my life. I soon drifted to sleep.
I woke up the next morning. It was Christmas day. I got up and went and got in the shower. I did my regular shower routine and got out. I got dressed and went to the bathroom. I wetted my face and put shaving cream on my face. I began shaving off my scruff. I shaved it all off, once I finished shaving I washed my face off. I walked upstairs to the kitchen where my mom made breakfast. I got a plate and put food on my plate and began to eat. My siblings and family made there way down to the kitchen one by one. Everyone was sitting at the dining room table.
"So are you excited to go to Kansas"
"No why would I be"
"Because Braelyn is a great girl, I think you will be very fond of her"
"I don't think I will ever be fond of her, because forcing her and me into a marriage is never going to work"
"Well you are going to have to try"
"Let's open presents" My mom chirped.
I got up and set my plate in the sink and walked into the living room.
"This is for Trevor, Mayli, Dad, John, Mayli, Trevor, John, me, John, Trevor, Dad, Mayli, John, Trevor, me, Mayli, Dad, John, Trevor" Once all the gifts were pasted out we all opened the gifts one at a time.
Trevor went first he opened his first gift, which was a pair of black Yezzy's.
"Open a gift John" I picked up the biggest box. I opened it, it had a bunch of pants and nice dress shirts.
"Thanks mom"
Once everyone opened there presents, I took everything to my room. I packed the clothes in my suitcase. There was a knock on the door.
"It's open"
"I have one more gift for you" My mom said sitting down on my bed.
"What is it" I said sitting next to her.
"My grandfather gave me this ring and told me to give it to my son before he got married, and I wanted to give it to you"
The ring is beautiful. the diamond was big and smaller diamonds around it and some on the band.
