chapter fifteen

(Andy's POV)

The guys came and pulled me out of amethyst's room. I immediately knew I had messed up. I feel terrible, I shouldn't have yelled at and that way. That guilt went away when I remembered what scout told me amethyst said. Anger soon took over one again and i started arguing with the guys.

"What the fuck are you thinking!?" Jinxx asked me anger clear in his voice.

"Figuring or what the fuck has gotten into her!" I soothed back at him

"Nothing's gotten into her, you and scout, mostly scout, are the problem!" Ash screamed. I'm guessing my last comment angered him even more. But him talking about scout like that is unacceptable.

"Don't fucking talk about scout like that!" I shouted anger boiling inside me. Cc was about to jump in but amethyst's door opened.

"Take this outside, there's other people here and I'm trying to calm amethyst down, poor baby's been through enough tonight" name said calmly. I could see amethyst sitting on the hotel bed. Her face was red, her eyes were puffy and her cheeks were stained with tears. I felt a wave of guilt rush over me again. I cause that I made my baby sister cry. What kind of brother am I? How could I do this to her? I wanted to run in there and comfort her but I knew I couldn't. She'll probably hate me forever now. But, with what she did to scout, she deserves it. The wave of guilt I felt was now gone and anger was taking over again.
I walked out into the parking lot with the guys and we started taking again.

"How could you take her side? You know what she said to scout" I said angrily

"God dammit Andy!" Cc shouted "you of all people should know her well enough to know she'd never do that!"

"Oh so scout just made it up?" I asked getting angry just at the thought of it

"Yes" all the guys said at the same time. It angered me but I knew they had a point.

"Scout would ne-" I was cut off by Jinxx

"She would, she's not the person you think she is" ash said. 

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" I asked starting to get angry again.

"Pay more attention dude, check her phone" ash said he immediately put his hand over his mouth and let out a muffled "fuck"

"What?" I asked slightly shocked "what are you taking about?"

"Nothing, I'm going to check on Ame" ash said and he turned and walked away.

"Me too" Jinxx said "you should try to apologize sometime tonight"

I was alone. I felt so stupid and terrible that I treated amethyst that way. I walked into the hotel and went to my room. I immediately sat on the edge of my bed and put my hands in my face.

How could I do this? How could I let scout trick me? I know Ame would never say anything like that and scout's been so distant lately I've started thinking she might be cheating. What did ash mean 'check her phone'? Does he know something? All these questions clouded my mind and I started to cry. I feel terrible.

After about twenty minutes I decided to check on amethyst. I walked out of my room and walked a little ways down the hall. I found amethyst's room and knocked on the door. No answer. I knocked again and still got no answer. I opened the door to see an empty room. All her things were neatly placed on the bed and there was no sign of amethyst. I started to panic. I ran out of amethyst's room to Jakes room and pounded on his door.
"What's the problem?" Jake asked drowsily
"Amethyst's gone" I said panic clear in my voice. Jakes eyes widened.
"What?" Jake said sounding slightly panicky. "Let me get dressed tell the rest of the guys"
I nodded and ran off soon all of the guys were dressed and outside with me looking.

We've been looking for almost an hour with no luck. It doesn't help that there's almost nobody out in the streets at this time of night.

"Where could she be?" Ash asked trying to hold back tears
"I don't know" Jake said
"C'mon guys think, where's somewhere she'd go?" Jinxx said. We all thought for a while and I finally said "the woods!"
"Dammit why didn't we think of that an hour ago!?" Cc yelled
"Let's go get my car, if we follow this road long enough it leads to the woods" Jake said
"Let's hurry then, its starting to get cold" I said.

We followed the pavement road for about ten minutes than I turned to gravel after another ten minutes the gravel turned to dirt and we were surrounded by trees. I started getting nervous. I stared out the windows hoping to see my baby sister somewhere.
"Woah. Stop the car!" Cc said "I think that's her"
I looked over to where cc was pointing and sure enough there was a small body wrapped in a thin sheet.
Before Jake even came to a complete stop I jumped out of the car and ran to the small body on the side of the road. I picked her up to see it was amethyst, I grabbed her backpack and ran back to the car.
"She's freezing" I said as I held amethyst to my chest.
"Well duh, its cold as fuck outside" amethyst said drowsily "how did you find me?"
"I figured you'd go to the woods and these woods are the closest to the city" I told her stroking her hair gently. I kissed her forehead after she fell back asleep and held her the whole way back to the hotel.
