Maya Hart and Lucas Friar.. John Adams High School's most famous couple.
They were perfect, no flaws in the relationship..
That was, until one night.
"I can't believe you right now, Lucas" Maya said
"I didn't do anything!" He claimed
"Since when is kissing Missy Johnson 'nothing'?!"
"I said I'm sorry, Maya. What else do you want from me?!"
"Get out" she said. Her voice filled with anger and disappointment.
"Maya I-" he got interrupted
"I said" she started, her voice getting louder "get OUT"
She tossed her picture frame across the room.
Lucas left. Heartbroken.
Maya cried for hours. Finally she got up and looked at the picture she threw.
It read "JQA middle school best couple" she looked at the people in the picture.
It was them. Maya and Lucas. The eighth grade. She lightly smiled and the picture.
She was devastated when she saw the glass was broken in the top corner.
She regretted everything. But at the same time she regretted nothing.
