She loved him. The best thing that ever happened to her was him. But he cheated. He lied.

He told me he loved me. Boy was I a sucker to fall for that. She laughed at herself for her foolishness.

She looked up into the sky. "WHY ME?!" She shouted.

She fell to her knees and cried again.

Damn, by the end of tonight she's going to lose all moisture in her tear ducts.

Her phone beeped.

She looked down at the phone 12:56pm. "Dang" she said to herself.

She looked down and the centre of the screen.

A text. From him.

Lucas- maya

L- baby

Maya- you lost the right to call me baby 12 hours ago tbh

L- Maya, Missy kissed ME

M- and the difference is..?

L- um, I didn't kiss her?

M- sure as hell looked like your lips were pressed together so

L- I know and I'm sorry. I love you

(Maya: read 1:06am)

Lucas waited five minutes for a reply. He waited and waited. Still nothing.

This was it.

He may have just lost the love of his life.

All because of one stupid bet..
