I could see a dim light as I slowly opened my eyes. As my eyes adjusted to the light, I saw three blurry figures standing only a few feet away from me. I looked around the barely lit room and saw a couple of lamps and a brown couch sitting across the room. I saw a metal stool sitting by my bedside and I wonder if it was used while I was out. I was in a trance as I saw expensive equipment lying on the multiple counters in the room. Knocking me out of my trance I heard a deep male’s voice boom in the room.
Who are you? Why have you crossed our boarders?" The shortest of the three asked me softly, but power radiating off of him. I stared at him speechless, my lips were trembling and I couldn't produce a sound. Who is he and why is he yelling at me?
"M-m-my n-name is Audrey. Audrey Webber,” I trembled, “I am seventeen years old and I didn't mean to cross your boarder. I was running from rogues and I got tired and passed out. I didn't realize that I crossed your boarder." I spoke. My hands were shaking and my brain felt like it was hitting against my skull.
As if reading my mind, “You hit your head pretty hard so I would stay still and rest for a little bit longer and I will go call our Alpha and let him know that we have a rogue on our land," the second guy, who I presume to be the beta of the pack, spoke.
"NO! I am not a rogue! I just crossed your boarder by accident; I didn't mean to. Please, he will kill me! I will never let this happen again. I will leave and never come back; you don’t need to worry about me again. Just please let me go. Please." I begged. My head was racing and my heart started hurting. All of a sudden, I hit with a scent that I've never smelled before. It kind of smelled like wood and cologne. In walked a tall, muscular male. He had dirty blond hair and was built so I am assuming he has a six-pack. I looked into his eyes and the first thought that had entered my head was…
'Mate.'
