Chapter Three

I wake up inside of my bed alone again, the memories from last night make me smile my door opens and shuts I lay in bed and dont move, having my covers, covering my face.
Someone sinks the bed besides me and wraps there arm around my waist and pulls me close. I feel comfortable enough to fall asleep.
"Cassie I know your awake" rider chuckles a bit.
"Yeah? How'd you know?" I smile and turn around so I'm facing him. His beautiful green eyes are shut.
"Your breathing changed,"  he smiles and opens his left eye keeping his right one closed. "I thought you left me again," I say with a bit of happiness in my tone.
He pulls me closer "if I could lay here with you all day I think I can manage" he says and rests his chin on the top of my head.
"What do you do for work? Must be good because you have a pretty nice body," I say as I trace my fingers down his toned arms.
"If I told you, I'd scare you off hun" he says with a yawn.
"Okay," I simply say and snuggle closer to him into his toned chest.
I drift off to sleep again.

I wake up with riders arms wrapped around me, a smile forms on my face. I try to move put every attempt I make he pulls me closer, so I just lay there. He soon mumbles something,
"Babe go back to sleep" he says lowly I just sink back into his chest, registering 'babe' in my head.
"Hey I have to get to work mind letting me go?" I ask rider. His arms lift up, as if he was awake the whole time.
I check my clock next to the bed, I'm going to be late.
I shuffle around my room I redo my hair out deodorant on take off my hoodie witch leaves me in my bra, I slip off my pants also almost falling.
I hear rider chuckle lowly I look over at him looking at me I realize I'm in lace underwear and just a bra heat raises up my cheeks I quickly turn around finding a pair of pants slipping them on along with a slipknot shirt. I switch my Soc and apply some mascara.
"Call me when you get there beautiful" rider says tossing my phone at me I catch it and walk out of my room closing the door, quickly remembering I left my keys on my night stand where my phone was. I go inside rider is laying there with them in his hand I go to grab them he pulls them back I reach for them he gives me a sweet kiss on my lips which make me smile like an idiot while he hands me my keys.
I rush down stairs and put my shoes on and get into my jeep and rush to work.
The day at work goes fast, I had a few rude girls come in screaming at me which made me uncomfortable, but it's whatever.
"I'm on my way out I'll see you tomorrow," I tell Gavin he stops me and hands me an envelope, "here's your paycheck we're shutting down the shack tomorrow so no need to come in." He says and looks down at his feet, "okay.." I say a bit hesitant at first but walk outside to my jeep.
Since it's not to late I go and cash my check.
I got straight home to go see Jake, since I haven't seen him since dinner.
I walk inside taking my shoes off walking into the living room where there is a broken beer bottle laying on the hardwood floor.
I don't think anybody is home
I continue to walk through the living room to the dinning room to the kitchen where my dad is. He's on a phone call.
His eyes dart to me than back to the paper on the table.

I ignore the death glare and began to cook dinner knowing if he wasn't on such an important phone call that's what he'd scream at me to do. 

"i'll be back, i need to go help the boy's Jake's asleep upstairs" he says opening a normally locked gun cabinet  grabbing two pistol's and leaving one on the island.

 I stare at the pistol on the stand. 

"i'm going to leave this here safety is  on don't use it unless you need to i rather you go wake up Jake to keep you company down here until we get back." my dad says as he puts on a bullet proof vest.   

"whe- where are you going, whats going on..?" i ask quite afraid. 

"Jake will have to fill you in, but you don't need to be scared." he says a bit to aggressive as if hes irritated. 

As he leaves the house i bolt upstairs to my room where Jake is.  

"Jake get up meet me down stairs now." i demand as i walk down back down to the kitchen and continue to cook dinner.
