Chapter Four

Third person pof~

Yukio watches all around her, she hates this time period, it's an evil time and her young Kagome could be in trouble here. "Yukio, why is it you seem so...angry being here? I thought you'd be happy to be home?" Yukio let's out a growl of a chuckle "No my dear...this time period has killed my heart one to many times, I never thought I'd be back here." Kagome didn't respond but looked around herself finding the area pretty, she felt safe since Yukio was here to protect her. "You said we had to change my clothes, but where would we?" Yukio stopped mid-step, thinking to herself and she let's and breathe out. "I have no idea. You don't have to worry Kagome, I'll protect you and make sure the humans don't harm you." Yukio glares ahead as she falls into thought.
-Flash back-
A young Yukio runs through the grass, laughing as she hears her best friend running behind her. "Yukio that's not fair!" She let's out a squeal as she trips over a root she didn't see, landing on her face with an 'oof' her best friend named Inuyasha came to a stop beside her "Yukio are you okay? I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you!" Yukio just sits up and smiles brightly at him, she loved him very much even if he was a half demon. "I'm fine silly! Let's keep playing!" He grins and nods his head quickly, making her heart leap in joy.
-Flashback end-
Yukio was brought out of her flash back when she felt Kagome tighten her hold on Yukio's fur. "Yukio are you alright? You hadn't been responding to me." Yukio nods her head and stops walking "I am sorry to worry you, I will let you down and change back to my human form before a human sees us." Yukio lays down onto her stomach, letting Kagome get off of her back, a few seconds later Yukio is in human form and smiles at Kagome. "Now let us continue, we will be at the village soon and I will need you to be hidden until that centipede woman is dealt with." Kagome smiles sadly and looks at Yukio, nodding her head and follows Yukio. A few moments passed, the wind blew slowly but Yukio couldn't relax, she knew that the jewel was back, and inside Kagome she feared the most and was worried Kagome couldn't live a normal live after this. "Demon!" Yukio's head shoots up to see many men come running towards her and Kagome, she stood infront of Kagome glaring at the humans "Kagome stay calm, it'll be alright." The men surrounded them and threw a net on top of them, tying the net off and started to drag them, Yukio pulled Kagome ontop of her so the ground didn't hurt her.
"Lady Kaede, these are the two demons we found in Inuyasha's forest!" Yukio could feel her heart break at the mention of his name, she glared at the humans "We are not demons! Let us go, we just wish to go home!" Kagome looked at Yukio, seeing the pain in her eyes. "What Yukio says is right, we were attacked and now we are here!" Kaede brings sage (or something holy I really can't remember) and started to hit them with it, Yukio was holding back hisses from the pain she felt while Kagome was worried for Yukio "We are not demons please stop!" She had panic in her voice as her best friend and guardian was being hurt Kaede saw it was doing nothing and stopped, untying them and started to question them, Yukio was not focused since the pain she was just in was still there, burning her skin a bit. She holds back a growl when she remembers who this woman Infront of her is 'shes Her sister...She and that awful human took him away..' she quickly looked at Kagome worried "Kagome, are you alright? Did they hurt you when they tied you?" Yukio was quick on her feet as she check Kagome over making sure there was no cuts or any other harm done to her. (Soooooooo. I know this isn't a long chapter or anything but I'm trying to get one out there for everyone and I'm super sorry for not updating but I've gotten a job and school and such so I've been busy but I will try my hardest to update every few days or weeks)
