bonded 'till i feel,
the aglet's yet to seal
a step to kickstart
the run we're to beat
loosened.
disentangled.
slowly we're not fine.
i start to be sad
when i'm no longer clad
with your parts—i miss
to snarl in mine
isolated.
disconnected.
i'm an untied lace.
filling nulls and voids,
polarized to avoid
shoes we could've filled
with a slower pace
