I am now back in my lifepod, reclaiming usefull titanium from the fragments and crafting a welder to fix the damaged lifepod systems, once i managed to fix the system and replaced some parts, my lifepod began to funcion properly.
More loud noises are coming from the aurora, now that i have managed to fix the lifepod systems i decide to scan the aurora.
After the scan was completed i saw the results; the dark matter drive core is in critical condition, all v8 ion engines are heavily damaged and leaking radioactive waste into the ocean...
My PDA beeps again, telling me that an nuclear quantum detonation is possible if the core is starting to destabilize, It's only an matter of time before that happens.
"Two new messages recieved"
My Communications relay has picked up two signals, i decide to play them both, the first ons is from the second officer of the aurora;
"this is second officer keen broadcasting to all surviving aurora crew! , The scanner has picked up that there is dry land 750 meters west from the crash site, all remaining crew regroup on that island and wait for further instructions, co-ordinates attatched"
"warning co-ordinates file corrupted attempting to recover the file..."
"Unable to recover the file"
Damn the file is corrupted, and I don't have a compass...
The second message is from an engineer from the aurora;
"This is first engineer LaFaette from the aurora, I am in lifepod 17 at the bottom of the ocean with an passenger from the aurora aswell, we are trying to escape but an creature is blocking the way and it's trying to get in! ,we only have one diving suit in here... Please come rescue us, LaFaette out"...
