Lucas Pov:
We were in English class when Maya walks in, she is 10 minutes late that's not her she is never late she's maya. But then I see a laughing boy right behind her and that explains why she is late. They both started laughing and they didn't realize that the whole class was starring at them. Well now they notice because our teacher yelled 'Miss hart and Mr. Perry care to explain why you are late?' Ms. Jones snarled
'Sorry Ms. Jones we took the bus today and it broke down so we just walked to school from there' Maya lied , Maya never lies but I know she's lying because she has a cute innocent smile when she said that and the guy behind her was trying to hold back a laugh.
'Oh okay thanks for being honest take your seats I won't mark you tardy' Ms. Jones smiled sweetly
'Thank you Ms. Jones you saved me from my academic record. I would of freaked out if I was marked tardy' The brow haired boy lied
'No worries just please don't be late again' Ms. Jones said and continued our lesson.

Maya came and sat down next to me like usual but this time when I looked at her she has a fresh red hickey on her neck, and that's when I lost it.

'What the fuck Maya' I yelled/whispered

'What' She snapped

'How can you do this to me' I sadly said

'Do what , what are you talking about' She panicked

'Whats the hickey on your neck, and you coming in late with a boy and you guys obviously lied about the bus breaking down, do you not understand that I know I fucked up but I want to be with you' He whispered to me

'Lucas' I said calmly

'This isn't a hickey if you can't tell my hair is curled, I burned it this morning when I was rushing to do my hair because I was running late, I ran into Bradley on the way to the classroom and he asked me if we could say we were on the bus and it broke down because Ms. Jones trust me and knows I would never lie because if Bradley's parents knew he was late to class they would ground him' Maya said smoothly

'Oh' I said relieved

'But Bradley and I are going on a date' she let out

'What!' I was all hyped up again.

'Lucas what you did to me was bad. Really bad I can't believe you told your friends im just your bitch and you chose your popularity over your real life girlfriend, I need to heal from that and along the way im going to date. End of discussion' She snapped

'Maya I want you back' I said grabbing her hand under the table

'Lucas I waited all my life for you, you can wait a little longer for me to heal from your mistake' She said releasing her hand from mine.

'Maya can I ask one thing' I said

'Yes' She smiled

'If you guys end up dating can you promise me to not loose your virginity to him. Can you save it for me?' I said getting close to her face.

'That I can promise you' She smiled and kissed me on the cheek.

'Okay thank you Maya' I smiled

'No you can date to Lucas you know that right' she said

'Yeah but no one is you' I smiled
