Brooke's POV

My morning consisted of running around the highschool with my only two friends. Scott had a dream last night that he killed Allison in the school bus, so he had to make sure she was ok. Stiles thinks it has to do with the fact Scott is taking her on a date. Scott thinks differently, saying he needs a teacher.

"Who, Derek? You forgetting the part where we got him tossed in jail" Stiles reminds Scott.

"Yea I know. But chasing her, dragging her to the back of the bus, it felt so real" Scott breathes heavily.

"How real" I ask, gazing behind Scott.

"Like it actually happened" Scott tells me and stiles as our eyes widen.

"I think it did" Stiles grabs Scott's shoulders, turning him around. A bus, filled with blood, just like Scott's dream.

Back to the running and freaking out.

"I'm sure she's fine" I try to reassure Scott

"She's not answering any of my texts Brooke!" Scott gets angry.

"It could be a coincidence, all right? A seriously amazing coincidence" Stiles looks at Scott sympatheticly.

"Just help me find her ok? Do you see her?" Scott panics more.

"Nope" stiles and I tell him in sync.

As if on cue, Scott runs straight into a tall brunette.

"Ouch! You scare the crap out of me" She screams, looking up to revel her face.

"You're ok" Scott hugs Allison.

"Once my heart starts beating again, yeah. What?" Allison looks at our worried faces.

"I'm just happy to see you!" Scott tells her.

The intercom comes on, telling everyone that classes will proceed as scheduled. Allison runs off and tells us to save her a seat at lunch.  I then walk off, heading to class
~~

"Maybe it was just your blood on the door" I try to reassure Scott, who is still freaking out.

"Could have been animal blood. You know, maybe you caught a rabbit or something" Stiles gestures

"And did what?" Scott asks.

"Ate it" Stiles simply puts it.

"Raw?" Scotts eyes widen.

"No, you stopped to bake it in your little werewolf oven. I don't know. You're the one that can't remember anything" Stiles waves his hands frantically.

"Mr.Stilinski, if that's your idea of a hushed whisper you might want to pull the headphones out every once and a while." Mr.Harris interrupts our conversation. "I think you, Mr.McCall and Ms.Williams would benefit from a little distance. Yes?"

"No" stiles mutters. Harris ignores that answer, moving stiles to another desk. I chuckle, watching him as he turns around and gives me a look.

"Hey. I think they found something!" A girl shouts, making everyone run to the window. Scott, stiles, and I make our way to the front to see. They carry a man out on a gurney, who looks to be dead. Scott begins to panic when the man shoots up from the gurney and starts screaming.

"Okay. Okay this is good. He got up, he's not dead. Dead guys can't do that" Stiles tries to look on the bright side.

"Stiles- I did that" Scott sounds horrified.

"Scott, dreams aren't memories" I tell him.

"Then it wasn't a dream. Something happened last night, and I can't remember what"
~~

I drive to my house for the first time since Derek got arrested. When I park my car in front of the house, I am excited to smell the scent of my older brother. I quickly jump out of the car and run into the house.

"Derek!" I shout, opening the front door. He walks into view from one of the door frames, giving me a smile. I run towards him and jump into his arms.

"Hey Brooke" He chuckles, wrapping his big arms around me.

"I missed you Der Bear. Next time the cops are after you, we aren't letting you get arrested" I tell him. He chuckles, letting go of me.

"Do you know what happened to that bus driver?" I ask him. His lips form a straight line as he nods his head.

"Well? Don't leave me hanging!" I put my hands in the air.

He explains to me that the alpha got ahold of the bus driver, and Scott and him tried to save him. They fought the alpha away, but not before he could injure the bus driver. I widen my mouth in shock.

"Well, I have something I'm going to go do. I'll see you tonight brother" I kiss his cheek, turning toward the door.

"Alright. Be safe!" He hollers toward me.

"Yea yea" I mutter, jumping into my car.

Shortly later I arrive at the beacon hills hospital. I make my way to the front desk, smiling at the lady in front of the computer. I read her name tag, Melissa McCall. Scotts mom.

"Hello, I'm here to visit Peter Hale" I smile. She look at me cautiously before typing something on the computer. I hope she doesn't recognize me.

"Okay. You're good to go back" she smiles. I nod, walking over to my uncles room and opening the door.

I am met by the back of my uncles wheelchair. He was looking out the window, absolutely motionless.

"Hey uncle Peter. It's Brooke" I walk to the front of him, taking his hand.

"Sorry I haven't been to see you in awhile, I've been a little busy with uh, school and stuff." I smile

I talk to him about my life, my friends, Derek, about what happened to Laura, about how much I miss him and our conversations. It's a shame that I get no reply. Instead, I just get a blank stare. It feels like he's just looking right through me.

"Well, it was nice talking to you again. I miss you" I can feel the tears forming in my eyes as I let go of his hand, planting a kiss on the top of his head.

The door swings open, revealing a red headed nurse. "Visiting hours are over" She glares at me.

"Sorry. I was just leaving" I begin walking out of the room. I take one last look at my uncle before I leave the hospital, returning back to my house.
