All from a common cause (Claudrian Fanfic)

5: Please Don't leave me.

Adrian woke up that afternoon expecting to be alone. But instead, he was greeted with the sleeping face of a certain spider demon. He smiled at Claude's sleeping face, noting how peaceful he looked. He brushed a piece of hair out of Claude's eyes as he noticed the demon slowly waking up. Claude's eyes opened and were met with the greenish Yellow of Adrian's. Claude gave Adrian a smile and leaned up to give him a short peck on his cheek,

"Morning Adrian." He said. Feeling the best he had in a long time. Adrian smiled at him, again noting the smile on the other's face,

"Morning to you too." Was all he said. Claude sat up and stretched, making the muscles in his abdomen, chest, arms and back strain and crack. Mostly his back cracked, though. Adrian averted his gaze and tried not to let the blush show on his face, he opted to stare at the wall in front of him until the spider was finished.

Eventually, Claude let his arms fall and he got up, went to his closet and got dressed in his usual uniform, Adrian frowned,

"Don't you own anything other than that uniform?" He asked, Claude looked at him for a second and put a hand to his chin. Thinking about it,

"Hm. I think so. I'm always wearing this, though. So anything else would probably be at the very back." He said after a minute or two. Adrian only sighed, got up as well and used his magic to conjure his clothes back on his slim form. Claude found it slightly irritating that he couldn't see all the curves that he knew Adrian had, yet was glad at the same time. The spider was by nature, Extremely possessive and got jealous easily. The very thought of some other being seeing Adrian like how he and seen the ex-reaper the previous night made him almost give out a low growl. Thankfully he bit it back in favor of smiling at the reaper,

"You realize I'll still have to act like I always have. At least until I know that I'm not being watched any longer." Claude spoke once more. It was obvious to him that he was being watched by his Father, to make sure he's still in line with what was expected of him, It disgusted him that after all he was put through, he still answered to the bastard. Adrian nodded, 

"I know. But promise when it's just the two of us I'll get to see that smile of yours." He said, walking over to the spider and placing a hand on his cheek. Claude leaned into his hand and nodded, more than happy to oblige the other. They stood like that for a minute or two before Claude moved back. "I should probably go check on the brats." He said and Adrian nodded, knowing the spider was referring to Alois and Tyler's younger sister Violet.

By the time they had made it to Alois's room both Alois and Violet were snuggling each other. Naked, Claude noticed, but snuggling together none the less. It made him almost feel sorry for the way he had treated Violet, to begin with. But in the beginning, she was just pure pestering his charge and Alois had ordered him to not be friendly or kind to her. (Not that he would have but you get the idea). But still he walked over to them, Adrian conjuring clothes onto their forms, and he lifted Violet up into the air and took her into her own room. Placing the screaming Neko, (Who had woken up along the way) in the room and locking her in. Adrian put up a soundproof barrier around so they wouldn't hear her screaming and followed Claude as the spider went to do his chores for the day.

After everything had been done and the two had had a somewhat eventful day, Claude took his usual place on the roof of the Manor, staring off into space, He hadn't noticed Adrian come up to him until the other was in his line of sight. The spider smiled up at him and went to sit up. Adrian moving back to let him do so,

"Something wrong Claude?" He asked. Claude stayed quiet for a minute before looking at the other and kissing him deeply.

Adrian was surprised with the sudden kiss but kissed back anyway. Knowing that the Spider needed it, he didn't know why Claude needed this, Adrain just knew that he did. After a few minutes, Claude pulled away, tears clinging to the corners of his eyes,

"Please don't you dare leave me." He simply said. That was all he needed to say. The spider's eyes said all that Adrian needed to hear. Adrian could see How broken Claude was, anyone could if they really looked. And the fact that Claude willingly opened himself up to Adrian and allowed the ex-reaper to see how much he really wanted him. It almost brought Adrian to tears himself. The ex-reaper smiled, put a hand to Claude's cheek, gave him a short and sweet kiss and whispered so only the Spider could hear,

"I won't. I love you Claude Faustus."

Sorry about the super late update. I just never got around to writing this up until now. Currently working on the next chapter. Hopefully I'll get it done tomorrow so ya'll get it as your Christmas presents from me. Anyways, until then
