it was quiet when he answered. neither of them talked. not for a good five minutes.

"grayson?" she croaked out.

"addy." he replied.

"oh my god, grayson." she sobbed. "i hate you so much. no, no i don't. i love you, i still do. i miss you so much, it hurts. you hurt me. i thought it was me! but then you got another girl, and you became so famous. i was hurt and proud. i love you grayson. and i really do miss you. so much, gray, so damn much."

"baby girl, i miss you too. i shouldn't have done that to you. it was stupid and rude. i hate myself for it."

they both sobbed quietly.

"addison?"

"yeah grayson?"

"do you still live next door?"

"no, grayson, i moved. i moved to los angeles."

"you're kidding?"

"no."

"where?"

"in an apartment complex."

"on what street?"

"northwood."

"l and t?"

"yeah, how'd you know?"

"what number?"

"217...why?"

"ethan and i live in 419."

"you're joking?"

"no."

they both fell silent. she missed him, but didn't want to see him. he loved her, and wanted to hold her again. he felt horrible for what he had done to her, all the pain he caused her.

"i miss you." grayson whispers. "so damn much."

"i miss you like crazy."

"c-can i come see you?"

she hesitated. should she let him? what if it's all a lie? what if she leaves him again? did she want to risk it again?

"yes."
