ethan was sitting at her door. his eyes closed, his breathing slow. he was asleep. it was two am.
finally, at seven am, her door opened and he fell back. quickly, ethan jumped up.
"ethan?"
"addy."
"why're you..."
"i was coming to see you yesterday, but i didn't know if i should have or not."
"oh ethan." she wraps her arms around his neck. "you're so silly, of course you can come over anytime."
"addy, can i still trust you with anything?"
"always, that would and will never change."
"addy, i love you."
"ethan, i love you too."
he huffs. "no, addison...i LOVE you."
they stood in silence.
