-Your POV-

I felt a gentle grasp on my left hand and with all my effort I opened my eyes to see Misaki sitting at my side, a scared stare that was stuck on the ring he had given me. I tried to speak but all that came out was a mumbled words that barely made any sense but his head quickly snapped towards me and his eyes, which were already red and puffy, started to leak more tears as he leaned in closer to me and wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his face into my night gown. I looked around and I realized that we were in our apartment. My eyes started to wonder, that's when I saw the medical equipment. The sight of them made me sick. Although they helped me stay alive, I hated them. My eyes started to get dry from staring at them until I looked down at Misaki and used most of my energy to lift my right hand and put it on his head and brushed my fingers through his hair. "I love you", I tried to tell him but it came out as a scratchy whisper. He looked up at me and wiped his tears away and whispered back,
"I love you too." He pulled his body up and stood up, picking up a paper that had been crumbled up many times, "Can you feel your whole body?" I nodded my head and he gave me a relieved smiled, "lift up your arms then try to stand up." I felt my heavy arms rise up but to only fall back to my sides, then I slowly shifted my body towards the edge of the bed and put my feet on the floor. The feeling of the ground was odd and sent a very sensitive sensation that rushed up my spine. Lifting my body off the bed I got onto my feet only to feel my legs shake then give out, causing me to fall forward. Misaki quickly caught me and helped me walk out of the bedroom to the living room. I wobbled my way to the couch and Misaki kneeled down resting his head on my chest, clenching onto my waist, "I'm happy you're awake."
