A Discovery of a Young Angel

A New Beginning

This is a story about a young boy named caleb. Caleb lived in a small town in Kentucky. Caleb was just your typical teenage boy. He liked to listen to music, hang out with friends, and stay up late playing video games. Caleb was a boy that was well liked and everyone wanted to be around him.

    There is one thing that dose make him different than everyone else. Caleb has a unique fascination with angels. He has always liked angels since he was a little kid. He always dreams about growing the wings and becoming an angel. He never told anyone about his obsession because he doesn't want his friends to think differently of him.

Caleb tries everything to feel the sensation of being an angel. He often wears a pair of wings he bought at a halloween store to get the feeling of having wings. He usually wears them when he's alone in the house or his mom is asleep. He keeps his wings in the back of his closet so his friends or mom can't find them.

    One Friday night he decided to wear his wings while his mom was asleep. He wore them for a few hours then he went to bed. When he took his wings off he felt his back aching near his upper back. Little did he know this was a sign that this was a sign that his dream was about to come true.

    Throughout that weekend he noticed that pain was still there. He thought it was his mind playing tricks on him so he tried to ignore it. As the weekend ended the pain got gradually worse. He woke up on Monday and the pain was even worse. He was in a lot of pain but he had to go to school. Throughout the day he was in a lot of pain and could hardly concentrate. He decided to leave school early and go home.

    A few hours after he got home the pain he felt in his back was unbearable. He was laying on his bed with his knees to his chest huddled in pain. As he was laying there he felt a movement in his back. He thought he was feeling things but then it happened again. At this point he knew something was wrong.

    He decided to get off of his bed and run to his bathroom to look in the mirror. He got to the bathroom, removed his shirt, and looked in the mirror. What he saw in the mirror gave left him speechless. He saw 2 huge bumps in his back near his shoulder blades. He thought this couldn't be real. As he was looking he felt the sharpest pain he ever felt in his life. He kneeled on the floor and screamed in pain as he felt his back tearing open. He clenched his fist's together while something pushed through the tears in his skin. He didn't know what it was. The pain finally stopped and he found the strength to pull himself up.

    As he pulled himself up he looked in the mirror again and what he saw made him freeze in shock. He saw that he had grown a pair of wings. His wings were a pearly white color and had a lot of soft feathers. He did a double take to make sure he wasn't seeing things. He reached behind him a touched his wings and he just stood there in shock that they were real. He began to smile because his dream finally came true.

    As he was calming down he heard his front door open. It was his mom. He started to panic and he slammed the bathroom door shut and locked it.  His mom came to the bathroom door and knocked and asked "Are you feeling better?" He then replied "Yeah I'm fine." She replied "Okay" and walked away from the door.

He was scared and he didn't want his mom finding out. He didn't know what he was going to do. He remained in the bathroom for thirty minutes when his mom came to the door and said "Are you finished yet because I need the bathroom" He replied "In a minute" He started to panic and all of the sudden the door knob started to jiggle. His mom yelled "I'm coming in" He ran into the shower and closed the curtain just as his mom entered the bathroom. His mom walked to the shower and threw the curtains open. At that moment she saw Caleb had grown wings. Caleb stood there scared and started to shake nervously.
