Space station

We arrive to the space station. Its huge and there is a massive line of people. As we go inside there is a window and it shows all of the space ships waiting to take off. They are huge and I have read that they have heaps of facilities like a lounge. I sit down with my family and I wait to be called up to do some tests and put our luggage away. "Could Jess Manners please come to the test room" calls the lady. My Mum or sister haven't had the test so I don't know what it will be like. Once I get into the test room she gets me to sit down. She is holding a massive needle. I start freaking out. She comes over and jabs it in me. I scream and start crying. Even though i'm 16 I am deeply afraid of injections. She says that this needle is so I don't consume as much oxygen as I do in Earth. She then grabs another one and injects it in my wrist. This hurt so much I nearly died. She said that this injection was like a tag to say that I am registered for Mars. I go out of the room and straight to my Mum. My sister asks "What are the bandages on your arm and what did they do". "They only put bandages on your arm to make your muscles warm for the trip" I say but this isn't true as I don't want to scare my sister as she is only 9. As my sister and my Mum get called up I sit there and look through the window and look at the grey sky.
