That voice. There it was.
It was like angels calling from above. He slowly turned around, and behold, there she was."Jo..."
And in an instant she had her arms wrapped around him, hugging him with every fiber inside of her. Oh, how she had missed him. It had been forever. Or, well, it had felt like it. She held onto him tightly, almost as if she was going to lose him. Dean returned the embrace in an instant, placing his chin on her head, a few tears of his own silently streaming down his cheeks.
He shushed her, pulling back just enough so he could look at her. Both of his hands moved to her cheeks, his thumbs wiping her tears that had formed and fallen.
"Hiya princess..."
Dean's voice hitched in the middle of the sentence, smiling nervously even though he was crying."Dean... What am I doing here? I... I d-"
God no. Don't say it, Jo.
"Don't you dare even say that. Don't even think it. I brought you back. You're back. And I'm here too. That's all that matters..."
His hands found their way to her hair, fingers tangling in it.
"Dean... How did you-"
She looked around, then immediately pulled back.
"-no.... You didn't."
He reached out for her, but she pushed him away. And God, was he hurt.
"I've only got a day."
