Chapter 3

Bella's POV

TWINS!! I'M GOING TO HAVE TWINS!!

"Are you sure Carlisle?" I ask.

"Yes Bella, you and Rosalie are going to have twins. Do you question my ability to do this?" Where in the world did that come from? He's been saying things like this to me ever since they have come back. Did I do something wrong?

"No of course not Carlisle. Where did you get that idea? When have I not believed you?" I questioned.

"You always seem to question me, and make repeat myself. I thought shifters were supposed to have great hearing. I guess that's not the case with you is it now Bella." Now that was uncalled for right there.

"What did I do to make you talk to me like this? I thought we were friends Carlisle?"

"You want to know what you did? You ruined this family Bella. If it wasn't for you, the Volturi wouldn't be dead, Rosalie would still be a vampire like the rest of us, and most importantly Bella, there wouldn't be any revolting, disgusting lesbian couples running around. We were friends, I thought of you as a daughter, until you ended up with male genitals and imprinting on Rosalie," he says.

I'm honestly shocked right now. I never thought that Carlisle would say something like that to any of us.

"I want you to get out of this house Bella, and never come back. I want you to stay away from my family, and take Rosalie, Jade, and Angela with you. I never want to see you guys again. You're a disgrace to this family."

"If that's what you want Carlisle, but this not the last time you will see or hear from us. We are going to take the supernatural world by storm," Rosalie says.

She grabs my hand and leads me out the door. I can tell she's trying to fight the tears from falling. That's my girl, the fighter. I gently squeeze her hand in reassurance. I'm so proud of her. She could've left me to stay with this family, have the twins, and live the rest of her life surrounded by people who love her. Instead though, she chose to come with me and some of our friends. The good thing that Carlisle doesn't know is that I got my PhD in nursing, and all that other baby stuff (I don't know what it's called, sorry).

"I'm sorry Rose. If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have to leave your family. You wouldn't even be pregnant. You would be happy with some vampire, while actually being a vampire. You wouldn't have to be stuck with a freak like me..." I trail off. I might sound confident sometimes, but in all actuality I'm scared and insecure. Like what if she realizes I was a mistake, and she'll take our babies away from me. I could never see them again, and I don't want that. I want to be on their lives. I want to be here for them. Be the "dad" that my dad was for me when I was their age. If she leaves, then none of that would come true. I would either be dead, or a shell hoping she'll come back to me. Without her, I'm nothing.

"Bella look at me," she says. I turn to face her. She looks so beautiful at the moment. Her face with its natural beauty. Her long blonde hair. Her amazing hazel eyes that I cannot look away from no matter how hard I tried to.

"I'm never ever going to leave you again. Do you understand? I almost lost you once, I'm not going to lose you again. You are my world, without you I'm just a shell. I need you in my life to survive. You're the reason I wake up in the mornings, the reason I'm not going to freak out about being kicked out of the house. You are the reason I'm still alive. I love you Bella, and that's never going to change."

"I love you too Rose," and with that she pulls me as close to her as possible with her belly bump, and kisses me. This kiss is like nothing we have ever had before. She's kissing me like her life depends on it, and I'm doing the same. She pulls away and leans her head on my chest.

"Let's go start our new life shall we?" I ask her when I pull away. I hold out my hand for her while I wait for her answer.

"That we shall," she giggles. She takes my hand, and we go say our goodbyes to the rest of the family. They will be missed dearly, but it's time Rose and I start our own family.

We take one last look at the house, then get in her car and drive off to wherever the road takes us. This is going to be one interesting adventure, and I cannot wait.
