When I said that, they grabbed me and dragged me out. No one spared them a glance as they rushed me out the door that day. After, they brought me to their pack and interrogated me.

I eventually told them what happened. I told them how my mate was an alpha. That he didn't like when he found out I was his mate, especially the part that I was a human. How his pack bullied and abused me every day for being rejected by their alpha.

I described to them the pack because I didn't know the name. They figured out it was the Blood Moon pack. I also told them how I got into a fight with a pack member and how I was kicked out of the pack.

They kept me in the cell until they verified the story I told them. Once they determined that I was telling the truth, they gave me something to eat and introduced themselves and the members of their pack. At that point, I was pissed. I didn't understand how they could treat me like a criminal one minute and like a guest the other.

Alpha Ryan explained why he had to interrogate me. He told me that his pack was at war with another pack right now and that they would try anything to gain an advantage over his pack and that meant trying to infiltrate his pack. I understood his reasoning but I didn't understand why they were keeping me here.

Alpha allowed me to leave and offered me a ride since he kidnapped me in the first place. He grabbed his keys and started to walked out the door when he noticed I wasn't following him. He asked why I wasn't and that was when I told him I had nowhere to go.

He put his keys in his pocket and walked over to me.

"Don't you have someone to go back to?" He asked probably curious as to why I wasn't happier to leave.

"No, after I met Ace I left home. There isn't anywhere I can go." I said shrugging, trying to make it look like it wasn't a big deal.

He said "Stay with us. I'll let you stay a month to get back on your feet, but in order to stay longer you'll have to join the pack."

"What? Are you serious? You really want me to join the pack, but I'm human? Why would you want a human in your pack?" I tried to make sense of what he was saying.

"Yeah I know you are human, doesn't mean that I care. It doesn't mean anything. If I didn't want you in the pack, I wouldn't have offered."

"I want to join the pack "I stated.

If he could accept me as a human, I didn't see why I shouldn't join. I knew I didn't have anywhere else to be and this was as best of a place as any.

"Though, you would have to do something in the pack." He said getting my attention.

"Of course, I can cook and clean the packed house if you want..." I continued to list off the things I could do until he cut me off.

"Not what I meant. You can join as a member, not an omega. You won't be treated like one or do an omega's job."

The omegas were at the bottom of the pack hierarchy. They usually did the chores around the packed house, such as cleaning. They are also treated as servants sometimes. They were the members of the pack that had committed a crime that was bad but not bad enough to be kicked out of the pack.

In my old pack, I was an omega. Not because I committed a crime, but because Ace said I didn't deserve to be his mate and Luna. He told me I was lucky he let me be part of his pack, even though I was a human.

"What I meant," Ryan said," was you are going to help in the kitchen by cooking the meals. You will also have to train with everyone else."

I started to argue with him. I didn't know how to fight and he wanted me to train with wolves. It was my version of a death sentence, he wanted me to die I thought as I thought about my last encounter with a wolf, otherwise known as Britney (Bitch).

Ryan cut me off as his wolf slowly came out in his voice," Stop complaining! I'm letting you join the pack and that means you have to be able to fight. Everyone in this pack is taught to fight, even the omegas. You will also be allowed to rise in rank depending on the progress and work you do in the pack."

After he told me more about the pack and the things I could do and the things that were required of me, I was given my own room. I sat on the bed thinking of everything that had happened. I determined that I was going to succeed in this pack, and I wasn't going to be the weak person I was when I was Ace's mate. I was going to be strong and one day show the world that I wasn't that scared little girl anymore.
