I laughed out loud along with Ben and James as we drove into the Blood Moon pack's territory. Once we passed the border, we heard the border guards running behind us in their wolf form trying to catch up to us.

Ben and James both knew what I was thinking without us having to mind link each other, made possible by a witch who owed me a favor because we were on the same page most of the time. That was the first issue we had to address. The border guards shouldn't have all come after us.

They needed to be reminded of war strategies, no wonder they were weak. They couldn't even protect their own border yet alone their pack during a rogue attack. We needed to discuss that with the alpha and beta of the Blood Moon pack.

The guards should have protected the border from other dangers and not have all followed us. Only a couple of the guards should have come after us to try to eliminate the threat or at least die trying. They didn't have the right leadership guiding them. Thank the Moon Goddess we were here to help though.

I glanced around at the nature surrounding us. It was a bright clear blue day, an amazing day to travel on our bikes. The road we were traveling on was one of the only things I loved about this pack. It was canopied by weeping willows on both sides, while on the ground flowers surrounded us in all shades and kinds.

It wasn't only nature I was looking at, I was also looking for any changes to the pack I once knew. I didn't see any yet but I knew there were many. The nature of this pack might not have changed, but its strength had. While I had turned strong in my time away from this pack, the pack in my time away had turned weak.

Ben, James, and I screamed in joy at the chase we were leading. We loved to play with people. We especially had fun messing with this pack. We wanted the chase, we wanted the power, and we wanted to have fun before the business needed to be done. So that's what we are doing, we were having a little bit of fun.

Ben, James, and I were riding behind Ryan and Evan for the entire trip, but now we stopped. We let them go on to meet the pack while we waited. It was now time for my plan, my plan for a dramatic entrance. All we needed now was for the border wolves to catch up.

(Ryan's POV)

I was driving up to the Blood Moon's pack house when suddenly I heard the engines of the others' motorcycles fade into a distant hum. I looked into the rear view mirror and saw them slow down, coming to a stop far behind us. I was going to stop until I heard James mind link me.

Alpha, Kathryn has a plan. Just keep going on without us. Just wait and see, trust me it will be worth the wait.

I shook my head rolling my eyes before putting on my shades. Of course, Kathryn had a plan. Ever since her confidence grew she started to be more dramatic. I should have known she would want a dramatic entrance today.

I kept driving knowing what I had to do. I sped up reaching the pack house in less than a minute. I glanced around trying to see how the pack was set up. I noticed that most of the pack was gathered in front of the pack house waiting for our arrival.

I stopped the car but waited a couple of minutes. I liked to see the other pack fidget a little to see how they would react. It was the reaction I expected, they looked wary and started to shuffle about.

I looked to Evan nodding when he gave me the signal to start this performance of power, but the thing was it wasn't a performance. We, my pack, was just powerful overall. He waited for me to step out of the car first since I was the alpha. It was a show of power, the first to face the other pack. I stepped out and waited for Evan to step out. I watched as he put on his shades while getting out, he then walked towards me standing by my side.

I walked over to the line of wolves standing in front of their pack. Maybe they were even trying to protect it just in case we were going to start a war. Like they could ever go against me, let alone the four warriors I brought with me. I let a little smirk fall from my lips before pulling my face into the emotionless mask I wore as an alpha.

I waited for the bastard of this pack to show himself, the one who called himself the alpha of the Blood Moon pack. I started tapping my foot to show them my impatience. I watched as the crowd of werewolves parted and the alpha showed himself. I only knew he was the alpha because of the aura surrounding him, a small aura of potential alpha power that hasn't been harnessed.

He came over to me with another man I assumed was his beta. I also saw a woman standing by the two men and I hoped for their sake it was the female beta, but I knew better. The woman in short tight clothing was the alpha's whore, Britney. The same Britney that Kathryn told us about, the one who bullied her when she was here.

They walked to Evan and me, stopping a foot away from us. I watched the bastard's every move, trying to see if he was going to start a war. We were allies but I didn't trust his motives. I didn't believe that he brought us here to help them, not after what Kathryn told me about this pack.

Before I found Kathryn, I used to respect Ace and his pack but that all changed when I met Kat and she told us what they did to her. I needed for them to show me that I could trust their word about their need for our help.

I was brought out of my thoughts when Ace stepped forward.

"Ace Midnight, the alpha of the Blood Moon pack, welcome to our pack," he motioned to his beta. "This is my beta, Vincent Williams."

The slut interrupted me, "I'm Ace's mate, the Luna of this pack."

She said this while snuggling and rubbing herself on the bastard. I growled at her because she disrespected me as an alpha by not giving me the chance to reply first as the highest rank here. She also disrespected my Kathryn by calling herself the Luna of this pack. No matter if Ace rejected Kat. She was still the Luna.

After I growled letting the wolves around me know I had been disrespected, I waited to see their submission. Only then did I continue. I nodded in greeting only to the bastard and his beta, ignoring the bitch.

"I am Ryan Wood alpha of the Dark pack, and this is my beta, Evan Williams."

Ace bent down on one knee showing his neck to me, submitting to me. I heard the gasps all around me. An alpha never submitted to anyone, but he was submitting to me.

"Thank you for coming, for giving us your help and leadership. I will forever be in your debt."

I motioned for him to stand. This was what I needed to trust that his motives were real. Only an alpha who needed help desperately would submit to someone else. That also suggests that this alpha is weak. No alpha should submit.

After Ace stood he questioned, "I thought there were supposed to be five of your pack members coming?"

Just as he asked this, I heard the sounds of their bikes coming down the driveway.

I laughed turning around, "Who said they aren't coming?."
