Chapter Three: Dammit!

Jack's pov
  
   I crawl out of the plane, exhausted. The trip to L.A. took forever, and the new time zone isn't helping. I need somewhere to sleep because I got here way too early. Dammit. I grab my luggage and check my phone for nearby hotels. Turns out, there's one nearby. Nice. I get on a bus and get off at the front of the hotel. Everything looks so fancy. I walk up to the lady at the front desk.
   "Umm.. excuse me? I need a room for the night. Is it possible is I can get one?" I ask.
   " I'm very sorry Sir, but in order to stay here, you need to make reservations in advance. It even says it on the sign." She pointed to the big sign out side. She's right, it says reservation hotel. Dammit. no wonder everything looked so fancy!
   " Oh... okay. Do you think there is another hotel nearby that will let walk ins... In?" I ask, trying to stay as calm as I can.
   " Yes actually, about 20 minutes from here."
   " Thank you." I say as I run out of the hotel.
    I get back on the bus, and get off at the other hotel.
    When I get to the front desk, I ask the same question.
   " I need somewhere to stay for the night. Can I stay here?"
   " Sure thing!"
   " Thank you so much, you have no clue how much I've been through today. You see, I need to go to my university later today, and I need to get some rest before I head over there."
   " Wait, you mean the L.A. university?"
   " Yes..."
   " Well, my daughter is going there too, so I know that you have to get there in about an hour."
   " Wait... WHAT!?"
   " I was a little confused when you said stay here for the night, because it's 7:00 AM."
   " Oh no! I messed up my time zones!"
   " Here, I'll tell you what. I will drive you to the university as long as you promise that you will sleep in the car."
   My heart skipped a beat. I can't believe a lady would drive some weird Irish dude all the way to his university!
   " Thank you so much!!"
   I got in the lady's van and off we went to university.
