Starting Of An Ending

Some Doubts

The whole night Maha and Radhika could only think about the things Swara told them.They felt that Sanskar is the second person closest to their father,Laksh just like how is Swara to them after Ragini.

"Radhika, do you think Sanskarpa is alive ? "Maha asked after a long time of silent thinking .       "I feel like he is.I mean I really hope he is."Radhika replied.                                                                       "I mean all these years,I always knew that he would be amazing."Radhika continued.                     "I always imagined him and paa to pamper us whereas maa and Swarama would be strict"           Maha said with a smile on her face.                                                                                                                 "That would probably be correct."Radhika replied laughing.

Just then,Laksh who was walking across their room smiled a little when he heard his daughters talking about something at midnight.He decided to pay them a visit.                               "Girls what is this,why are you both still awake?"he said with a strict look on his face.                     The girls stopped talking and turned to look at their father.                                                                     "Paa,that face doesn't suit you."Maha said while laughing.Just then Radhika had an idea.             "Paa,hum thono ki ek doubt,anthar auna please."Radhika said.

Laksh entered and sat on their bed."Kya hua hamare beti ko?"                                                               Maha who understood the reason her sister called their father decided to ask him their doubts. "Paa,tell us about Sanskarpa."Maha asked.Laksh's lips curved up listening to her statement.       "Haan paa,we found out his character as a husband from Swarama,tell us how he is as a brother."Radhika said with her puppy eyes which looks exactly like Sanskars'.

At the mention of the girls asking Swara,his heart skipped a beat.He was worried that she might have revealed the truths that were supposed to stay hidden about him and Ragini.But looking at both of his daughters curious faces,he knew that everything was fine.Besides,Swara is not a person that goes across her words especially when it includes the girls.

"He was my best friend.More than being my brother,he was my best friend.Maybe that's why I don't usually call him bhai."Laksh stated.                                                                                                       "You don't call him bhai.How much elder is he to you?"Maha asked.                                                     Laksh knew the reason his daughter asked this question and replied 1.

"Ek year?Sanskarpa is elder to you one year and you don't call him bhai,but you want Radhika to call me didi because I'm elder to her one year?"Maha exclaimed.                                                       "That's not entirely me.It's mostly your maa."Laksh replied with a smirk.

"But, recently I noticed that the way both of you treat each other reminds me of how I and Sanskar used to be."Laksh said.                                                                                                                         He started realizing this fact when he sees his daughters interact and argue with each other playfully.

"Really paa?Who do I talk like?"Radhika asked excitedly.                                                                           "You talk like Sanskar."Laksh said pointing to Radhika.                                                                             "My goodiyan talks like me."he said touching Maha's nose.

Laksh then told the girls of how he helped Sanskar with his love.He also told how Sanskar helped him to marry Ragini.The girls listened to all of this happily.

"Ok,that's enough for today."Laksh said while getting up from their bed.                                             "Go to bed bed before your maa comes and see."with that he kissed their forheads.

Once Laksh closed his daughters bedroom door he looked up and said                                               "I know I lied about some things Sanskar, but I'm really happy that they are getting to know you."
