Fresh Start

It was already 12.30 a.m. ,but the two couples were still talking,relaxing at the guest room talking about all the things he left out.Sanskar felt sad but now he found himself lucky to be back after all these years.

Hr had learnt quite a lot of things,His sister Uttara was married to a family friend,Raghav Chaturvedi.They have a daughter called Madhuri.Sanskar just couldn't imagine his sister being a mother to a sixteen year old girl.Right now they have settled at Rajasthan.

"I don't know about all of you but I'm getting hungry."Laksh whined.Sanskar smiled at his brother.To be honest,his stomach was also grumbling.

" Alright,Ragini and I will make some sandwiches." Swara said to her sister while getting up.

"Nahi my sister in law, you and Ragini have been doing a lot of chores today.I'll make the sandwich."Laksh said.

"And I'll help him.Swara,I'm fine,if I'm not stable then the doctor wouldn't have allowed me home."Sanskar continued when he saw Swara's disapproving look.

The brothers then made their way towards the kitchen only to find the light on.

"Who could be at this hour?"Sanskar wondered.

"It seems we're not the only hungry ones.Let's see."Laksh said.

To their surprise,they found the girls standing by the kitchen counter engrossed in ice cream.Both the guys had a smile on their lips seeing this.

"Girls,what's this?You both know you're not allowed to have ice cream at this hour."Laksh stated.

The girls stood surprised for a second before Maha collected herself to answer their fathers."Paa,papa the ice cream was tempting..."

"How about we make a deal?We share the ice cream but our moms should not know.If we get caught,both of you have to save us."Radhika said while holding out her hand.That was the same way Sanskar used to do when he was acting as a mentally restarted person.

Back at the guest room,the ladies were keep on glancing at the wall clock to check the time.

"Swara,does it take this long to make sandwich?" Ragini asked her sister.

"Thus is why we should have gone to mame the snacks.Let's go and see whats going on."Swara said.

"Maybe they burned the kitchen."Ragini said while walking beside her sister.

"Ragini,please stop being so imaginative." Swara replied while laughing.

When the ladies reached the kitchen,the girls were eating ice cream while the fathers were watching then smiling.Since the girls were facing the other side,the mens noticed them first.Before the fathers could warn their daughters,Swara held Maha's ear while Ragini held Radhika's ear.

"Chodo please."the girls begged while the ladies mercilessly pinched their ears.

"How many times have we warned about this?Since you've got another support you've started na?"Ragini asked the girls.

"Papa,paa,help us."Maha whined.

Laksh quickly murmured something into his brothers ears before the both nodded in agreement.

The next thing they know,Laksh held Ragini's ear while Sanskar did the same to Swara in a method to force them to let go of their daughters.

"Girls go to bed quickly."Sanskar said.

As soon as the girls stepped out of the kitchen,the mens let go of their wifes.

The ladies were fuming in anger but the scene that took place were cute enough to make them smile.

The four of them then made sandwiches and ate them before retiring to bed.

It was Sunday morning and the mens were getting ready for their half day office.

Ragini was helping Laksh with his coat when she spoke something that has been bothering her mind.

"Laksh,maa and Chachi have decided to see the pandit tomorrow to fix the marriage date."

"That's good."Laksh said while wearing his watch.

"Since we're gonna tell Sanskar the truth,can we do it after the marriage?"Ragini asked nervously.

" I understand your concern.Its OK.I was thinking of the same thing."Laksh said.

"Don't worry."Laksh assured his wife before leaving.

The girls were surprised to find their mumma at their room when they knew she was supposed to go the mandhir.

"I never had a proper chance to thank both of you for bringing back Sanskar."Swara started.

" Mumma you don't have to thank us for this."Radhika said.

"Kya hua mumma?"Maha asked as she realised that she was not only here to tell thanks to them.

"Your papa and I are gonna get married soon.And I think we can only start our lives freshly if he forgets and forgives."Swara continued.

"You want papa to forgive Kavita aunty?"Radhika asked.

"Haan.I know that she gave her number to you before leaving.I can't ask anyone else to do this as thy won't agree with me."Swara continued.

"Mumma,don't worry,we'll do something about it."Maha said.

"And girls take care of papa."

"We will.No worries."the girls answered.

"Tk.I'm going to mandhir."Swara said leaving the room not before hugging the girls.

Parineetha was waiting for the right moment to talk to Sujatha.

"Chachi,don't you think Sanskar deserves to know the truth about Radhika being his daughter? He'll have a complete family once the truth is out.If you're worrying about Maha then don't ,after all she doesn't even belong to this family.."she was about to continue more when Sujatha stopped her.

"Bas Parineetha,Maha might not belong in this family,she might not have any connection to us but both the girls are same to me.I will never destroy them.Don't ever talk to me about this again."Sujatha said angrily before walking away.

While making her way towards her room,Sujatha can't help but to agree that whatever Parineetha said was correct.Her son deserves to know the truth.Her heart was urging her to tell her son the truth that very moment.That's when Sanskar walked towards her.

"Kya hua mom?You look tensed."Sanskar asked.

"You've to know something."she couldn't help herself to stop talking.

"Haan mom.Batao."

At that moment sujatha just thought of telling the truth then face all the consequences later.
