It is now almost 4 months living here in Japan. Summer is almost over. That means school is also coming back. I've already done all my summer break assignments that my teachers told us students to do. So my grades will no longer be a problem. I've read some random article on the internet, that there are 3 things. Those things are grades, social life and time to rest. You can only choose two of those things as a student. I've never had any problems with those since I have 3 of them at the same time back in Indonesia. But here in Japan, i in fact, have only 2 of them. Which you can already guess, time and grades. No friends, no social life. Just pure loneliness. But then, things can surely change in 8 months right?

"Kevin, have you done your summer assignments yet?" My aunt asked.
"Yes, aunty." I answered.
"Good, you only have one week left until school starts right?"
"Yeah."
"Why don't you start studying the lessons that you are about to take on the next term?"
"I already did."
"Well it won't hurt to go over those books just once more right? I'm sure you'll do good if you study hard." My aunt smiled at me.
"I'll probably do it one or two days before school starts, so I can still remember everything."
"Okay, be sure to do that then, well I'm heading out with your uncle to the summer festival. Do you want to come along?"
"No thanks, aunty."
"Well, take care sweetheart."
"Will do."
My aunty went ahead to the festival. I would go to the festival myself, maybe try to find the girl that I bumped into sometime in the past. But my brain and heart say the otherwise since school is almost here, and when school arrives, I can no longer game for hours. Trust me, the school time here isn't as loose as how the Indonesian schools work. 2 breaktimes, 9 total hours in school almost everyday from Monday to Saturday. And the level of discipline here is beyond the boundaries. It's as if like the teachers have the ears of dogs. If you talk, even just a little bit, boom, insta-detention. So yeah, I wouldn't consider Japan as a friendly country for schools if you're from Indonesia. Maybe for universities it's really good, but schools? No go.

"Still haven't made any friends yet?" My friend texted me on discord sarcastically.
"No luck as of now." I replied.
"LOL, unlucky bro."
"Yeah."
"You want to hop on a call?" He asked me.
"Nah, it's almost midnight here. I hate having different timezones."
"Okok, yeah different timezones suck."
"I need to log off now or else my uncle will murder me." I said to him.
"Ok bro, ttyl." He replied.
"Yeah ttyl." I closed my discord.
I only said that so I can browse youtube to watch videos without being disturbed.

I've been sitting in front of my computer screen for almost 9 hours now. My friend logged off just a little while ago. And now I'm just browsing youtube to find some good gameplay walkthrough videos. And then something crossed my mind.
Will I run into that girl again?
