"Do you feel better now?"
"Much better, thank you."
Jack stood up, holding his hand out to me. I lightly touched his hand, then soon clenched it.
His hands were warm and soft.
Jack grabbed my hand and pulled me up, "Whoaa—!"
Jack chuckled, "What are you laughing at?!" I yelled laughingly, "You're so clumsy today," Jack replied.
"It's cute," he whispered as his hand cupped his mouth.
...cute?
His hand drifted off his lips while a smile appeared beneath it, "Alright then, do you need something? It's almost 2 AM, haha."
"Well..."
What do I say? What do I say?!
"I couldn't sleep because I was hungry," I lied. I could sleep but I couldn't help my curiosity over the sound of the television.
"Oh..."
"You can sit with me then until you feel sleepy," Jack's mouth slanted, giving an anxious expression.
I felt flustered, not knowing what to say or do. I gulped, "Sure."
"I'll get some snacks for you then," Jack turned back to me, giving a thumbs up.
As Jack rushed into the room next door, I slowly made my way to the sofa. My foot still stung from the incident earlier.
I sat down into the sofa, pulling my knees up to my chin. I rested my head against them.
The television shed light on the couch, I only casted a single shadow. The TV was also muted, silence filled the room.
I scanned around the room, jacksepticeye...huh?
I giggled.
...
Wait.
I turned to my right to see a variety of pictures. Some were dusty, old but...
There was a particular picture frame that caught my attention. It had a little girl and a little boy; they were smiling and holding hands.
What was creepy was the girl looked exactly like me as a kid. I narrowed my eyes, scanning the picture.
I stood up and waddled towards it.
I was now in front of it, slowly wrapping my fingers around the frame; picking it up. My eyes widened.
What's going on...
"Y/N? What are you doing?" Jack snatched the picture from my fingertips.
"I-I, uh.. I'm sorry."
Jack's clench on the picture made it crinkle. Then crinkled more.
Jack was still holding a bowl of popcorn in his other hand. I couldn't help but smile.
Jack's expression of anger slowly changed into confusion. He arched an eyebrow and blankly stared.
"Sorry, I couldn't help but laugh at the situation you're in."
