[3 DAYS UNTIL AMERICA]

I woke up to find myself at my bed. Well, the one I'm 'borrowing.'

The blinds were open, I could hear muffled chirping, and I was cozy in the blankets with my casual clothes still on.

Wait.

Casual clothes?

I sat up in the bed, remembering I fell asleep on Jack. I looked around the room and saw a small yellow note on the door. I got up from the bed, slowly making me way to it.

I picked it up, it read in red pen, "Hey, I'm running errands so please be careful. -Jack"

I read it once or twice more and blinked a few times. I still haven't left his cabin to get back to the hotel.

What a waste of money.

I checked the back of the note, "P.S. You fell asleep on me last night. I hope you didn't mind me putting you to sleep."

...Sorry!

I opened the door, tiptoeing out. I scanned the open space around me.

I walked around, the cabin was completely silent. I saw a stairwell to me left. I quickly looked back at his clock.

I had time to explore.

The stairs creaked each time I took a step. I reached the top and slowly opened the door in front of me.

There was a hallway on my right but that could wait. I opened the door to see a whole setup of computers. There were two mattresses on one wall, a monitor, a cubed-shaped computer, a camera, a chair, oh, there was so much.

I stared at it all.

I decided to get out of the room before I broke something.

I went down the hall to see another room, it was a bathroom. I walked out and down the stairs again. Thirty minutes has passed.

I yawned and walked towards the kitchen. Before opening the fridge, I saw another note.

"Goals for Today:
-Get materials for dinner
-Pursue Y/N to stay
-Tell her you l—ajdidkdnuwxk"

A/N: Random letters are scribbling over words.

What?

I stared at the note; blushing deeply and clenching the note harder, crumbling it slowly.

Another ten to twelve minutes passed by. I sat at the wooden table, sipping my coffee silently.

I guess you could say, I like coffee but I also hate it. The smell of coffee lingered throughout the household.

The thought of Jack's note kept bothering me. Could he really?

Of course not.

I heard footsteps from outside and the clanging of metal keys against each other.

Clink!

I got up from the table, sprinting towards it, the door slowly opening. Jack popped his head in, slightly frightened by me already at the doorway.
