"Chase, I can't sell him! That horse is my life!" I said.

"I understand Amanda but that guy offered 1 million dollars for Storm!" Chase said.

"Storm is not worth 1 million bucks! You seriously believed that guy?" I asked.

"Not really." Chase said.

"I'm calling him to say that I'm not selling Storm." I said.

"Okay." He said.

After I called that guy, I went for a ride with Storm. I had a lot on my mind and I needed to calm down. And Chase was also acting pretty weird these days, I don't know why.

I looked at the time. Oh no! I had a new client coming in less than 15 minutes! I had to hurry!

"Go, Storm!" I said and he started galloping.

It took me about five minutes to go back to the ranch. I untacked Storm and put him in the meadow with the other horses.

"Why are you putting him there?" I heard Chase ask behind me. "He's a stallion."

"No mares are in there, only geldings." I said, trying to be patient. I didn't have much sleep lately and everything was getting on my nerves.

"So? There are some mares in the meadow right beside this one!" Chase said.

"So? None of them are in heat and besides, Storm doesn't act like a stallion around mares. you know that!" I said back.

"Whatever!" Chase said.

At that point my new client arrived. I went over to her truck and helped her take her mare out of the trailer.

"Was she okay during the drive?" I asked.

"Oh yes, she was very calm. But when it comes to putting a saddle on her back, she becomes very vicious." The lady said.

"And her name is Day-Z, right?" I asked. The mare was a beautiful bay quarter horse.

"Yes, that's it." The lady said.

"I can show you where Day-Z is going to stay and we can settle her in. I won't work with her today, I'll just let her get used to being here and if you want to stay a little longer, you are more than welcome!" I said.

"Thank you very much, but I have to leave." The lady said. "Bye." She went to her trick and left.

"Ok, well let's go and put you in your stall Day-Z." I said as I brought her in the stable.

Buck started getting agitated. Day-Z was also getting agitated.

"Are you in heat girl?" I asked.

I put her in her stall.

"Another horse? Again?" Chase asked.

"Well, yeah! Someone has to make some money here!" I said.

"I'm just going to take Buck out." Chase said, sounding annoyed.

"I'm going to bed, I'm really tiered." I said while yawning.

"Ok." Chase simply said.
