I wake up and I'm in my bed. I look beside me and I see Chase, sleeping in a chair beside my bed, his head leaning on the bed. He's holding my hand in both of his.

My left arm hurts. When I look over to my left side, I see a big bandage and the memories from yesterday's events came flooding back into my head.

I look over to Chase again. His eyes are open and he's staring at me. I smile at him.

"Morning beautiful." He says.

"Morning handsome." I say just above a whisper.

"You need to eat. You haven't eaten since 11:30 yesterday morning." Chase says as he gets up slowly and stretches.

I start getting up as well but feel dizzy. Chase sees that and in not even a second he's beside me, helping me up.

"Thanks." I say weakly.

Chase helps me sit on a chair in the kitchen.

"What do you want to eat? Chase asks.

"You can choose." I say and smile weakly.

He smiles at me but I can see the concern in his eyes.

We ate and then Chase helped me to the living room. He sat down and I sat down with him. He put an arm around my shoulders and I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Let's change your bandage." Chase said. He nodded toward my left arm.

I nodded and he went in the washroom to get an other bandage.

He came back and sat down beside me. He started undoing my bandage. I smiled a bit when his soft fingers touched my arm.

He looks at my arm. "Let's not put a bandage on it now." He says.

"Ok." I say as I look up into his blue eyes and smile.

He looks into my blue eyes and smiles.

"What about the horses?" I ask.

"I already took care of them." He says and smiles.

There's a knock on the door and when I see who it is, I freeze in fear.
