What makes writing beautiful? Is it the words, the way they are placed, the way that they flow together to make a sentence that is so much more powerful then the sum of it's parts?

Is it the imagery that is vividly splashed onto paper, that can paint pictures better then any paint can, that can capture moments better then even the best camera known to man?

How is it that words - simple words - hold so much power? How can then motivate, destroy, heal, love, hurt, burn, encourage - how can they do everything at once, yet nothing at all?

How can words be so powerful? How can such a simple collection of letters hold such a beauty that people will go out of their way to choose them wisely?

At it's core, aren't words just air that is vibrated a certain way? How can words be so powerful that these simple movements in the air can change something as important as a persons opinion?

How can we live up to the worlds that we have made on paper, the worlds that are populated with dragons and gods, with robots and demons, with people that are so extraordinary that we can fill a whole book with nothing but words?

How can words be powerful?

Their is only one simple answer - when they come from the heart.
