Bun in the oven

Hi guys I know I haven't updates in AGES AND AGES AND AGES but I didn't have anything worthwhile publishing so I wanted to wait until I has something I am proud and happy to publish, thank you to everyone who kept nagging me (nice nagging) to update because I finally did.

Brooke's P.O.V
"Sorry" I said as I knocked into someone,
"Brooke"
I looked up to see a very heavily pregnant Lexi carrying a huge box,
"Oh my god, hi" I said whilst taking in her appearance, "here, give me that" I said as I took the box off of her,
"Oh so her you listen to" I looked up to see a dark haired boy coming toward us, "but you don't take any of my advice, I've been trying to take that off her for ten minutes" he said acknowledging me.
"Well excuse me" Lexi said putting her hands on her hips, "this is my very annoying brother," she said as he held his hand out to me,
"Eli"
"Hi I'm Brooke" I said as I took in his appearance, 'not gonna lie he's smoking' I thought to myself,
"See you around Brooke" he said as he took the box off of me and made his way down the corridor leaving me with Lexi.
"So---" I said
"Hey you! Yeah you, preggers" I turned to see who had shouted it only to find Cassidy walking down the corridor, I grabbed Lexi's arm and began to pull her in the opposite direction only to have Cassidy run up from behind stopping us in our tracks,
"Where do yo think you're going?" she said eyeing up Lexi, "look at you, you're ridiculous, and people think I'm a slut " she said motioning to the huge baby bump as Lexi's eyes began to glisten with tears,
"Hey" I said stepping between them, "why don't you just back off okay," I said as I was suddenly shoved back,
"You're no better, you were all over Alex the second we broke up" she said as she began to walk down the corridor "maybe you can start your own club, the skank patrol" she said laughing.

I turned to see Lexi sat on the floor crying,
"Hey,hey" I said as I tried to soothe her "listen to me, who cares what she says?"
"I do, I care" she said hugging me, "please don't tell--"
"What the f**ck happened here?" Eli shouted as he sprinted over to Lexi's side and embraced her in a hug "it was her again wasn't it" he asked as Lexi nodded into his chest,
"What?" I asked "she's done this before?"
"Yeah, ever since she started showing"Eli replied "I try to protect her but I'm not always here with her" he said looking at me with sadness in his eyes.
"I have an idea" I said as I stood up "you're gonna join my group, there's more of us, that way someone will always be there to shield you from the cow" I said as Lexi smiled at my name for Cassidy,
"Are you sure" she said "are you sure your friends will like me, us?" She said motioning at her and Eli
"They won't like you" I said helping her up "they'll love you."

"Hey, I have something to tell you" I said as I sat down next to Alex in the canteen,
"What,what did you do?" He asked me
"Nothing" I said as I waved Lexi and Eli over to our table "I just invited some people over here" I said as everyone gave me a sceptical look "look guys they'd really nice and they been having some problem with Cassidy" I said as was met with a murmur of 'okay' from around the table.
"Hey over here" I called over to Lexi,
"Hi"' she said waving shyly, "I'm Lexi" she said as she subconsciously rubbed her bump,
"Oh you're pregnant" Lucas said as if nothing it for the first time,
"Yeah" she replied turning red and I glared at him making him hold his hands up in defence,
"I'm Eli" he said as Taylor's head snapped up form her phone "I'm her brother, I just want to point that out as people always think we are a couple and I'm the dad, which I'm obviously not, and it just gets awkward" he said earning a few laughs from the guys.
"Come on, sit" I said as I instructed everyone to make room for the newcomers and we introduced ourselves around the table,
"So Eli" Lucas started "what sports do you play?"
"Football"
"So what team do you support" he asked as the boys became engrossed in sports conversations Taylor's attention turned to Lexi,
"So what are you having?" She asked pointing at the baby bump,
"A girl" she replied smiling,
"Do you have a name yet?" Ashe asked
"No, not yet"
"We could help" Emma said "not pick one but give you some ideas"
"Yeah" Lexi said smiling "that'd be great"
"Just make sure not to call her some old granny name" Lucas said joining the conversation as the whole table laughed,
'Yeah' I smiled to myself as I looked around the table 'we are going to get along just fine.'

"Guys! Guys!" I yelled interrupting the guys argument over which football team was a better "I have an announcement to make" I said as I got everyone's attention,
"I'm gonna have a party this week end" I said which was followed by a cheer of 'woos' "and its fancy dress" I shrieked which was followed by a chorus of 'boos'
"Why, why are you doing this me" Dylan said as he took my hand dramatically across the table with a pleading look in his eyes,
"Yeah come on babe" Alex said "fancy dress? Really?"
"I think it's a great idea" Lexi said as she clapped her hands together in excitement,
"Thank you" I said motioning to Lexi "Come on guys, it won't be so bad" I said as the bell rang and we began to head off to class, "how about this, if you don't turn up in a costume, you're not coming in okay?"
"Fine"
"I'm in"
"Me too"
"Me three"
"See you there"
"Great" I said grinning "also we can't tell each other what we are coming as okay" I said as everyone nodded,
I turned and made my way to class mentally planning for the party, determined to make this the best party ever.
