Valentines day from Hell

Brooke's P.O.V
"See  you later guys" Lucas said as before he let himself out of my house,
"Where's he going?" Ash asked as I she said looking at Alex
"I don't know," he said shrugging "to set up probably" he said as he looked over at me smirking as he pointed to Ash
"Aww" I said teasingly "does Ash have a crush on Lucas?" I asked as she turned a deep shade of red,
"Are you sure?" Alex said laughing
"Yes" Ash shouted as she threw a pillow at me and Alex. Ding dong.
"What's the time?" I asked no one in particular
"7:00" Emma replied "who is it?" She asked me,
"It's Connor" I said , out of the corner of my eye I saw Alex stiffen, "now" I said as I turned to face him, "what's your problem?"

Alex's P.O.V
"It's Connor" Brooke said as I felt my whole body stiffen and my blood boil,
"Now" Brooke said as she turned to face me her hands on her hips "what's your problem?" She asked as I racked my brain for an answer,
"I umm, " I said as she raised her eyebrows at me,
"You what?"
"I just don't like him" I said as I scratched the back of my neck,
"Well" she said as she turned to her mirror to apply some makeup "can you entertain him for a bit, I'll be down in a minute" she said as I make my way out of her room,
"Don't worry" I called up to her as I made my way down the stairs "I know just what to do."
I opened the door to find Connor learning against the door frame with a bouquet of red roses,
"Oh, it's you" he said as he stood up "where's Brooke?" He asked as he tried to push past me into the house,
"She's upstairs" I said as I nudged him back outside, "what are you doing here?" I asked,
"Well" Connor said as his smirk re appeared  "I'm here on a date and I'm sorry to tell you but if you'd asked her first maybe she'd be here with you"
"What?" I asked I'm confusion as I saw his smile grow wider as he spoke in a lower voice
"It's obvious you have feelings for Brooke"
"No," I said as I pushed hi, backwards "no I don't, she doesn't mean anything more to me than a friend, a close friend. " Suddenly I heard footsteps behind me as Brooke appeared and took the roses from Connor,
"I'll see you there okay?" She said looking down at the floor before Connor led her to his car, the smirk never leaving his face.

"Alex" Cassidy said as she took my concentration away from Connor and Brooke "what's wrong?"
"I uhmm" I said as I glanced back at Connor and Brooke just as he slid his hand around her waist as I tightened my grip on my cup,
"Who's that?" Cassidy asked as she turned to see what I was looking at,
"Connor" I replied through gritted teeth,
"So," Cassidy said as she turned back to me "first she was sniffing around you, now Connor, who's next" she said laughing,
"Lay off Cass" I said as I pushed past her to the kitchen to top up my drink. I heard Cassidy calling my name but I just kept walking, I pushed my way to the kitchen and picked up the nearest drink
"Alex" Cassidy said as she caught up with me "what was that about?" I sighed as I turned to face her,
"You"
"What about me?" She asked as she pressed me against the counter, I pushed her away and moved away from the counter to face her,
"I can't be with you anymore, I just can't do it anymore" I said as I watched her face turn from shock to rage,
"This is her isn't it?" She said as she turned to leave the kitchen, I grabbed her arm and spun her round
"No this is me, I don't want to be with you, not anymore. I'm sorry, but it's not fair to me or to you--"
"But you promised me, you promised me you'd be there for me" she said as her walls came down and she clutched my shirt,
"I know" I said as I took her hand off me "and I will, I always will, but just not like this." I pushed away from her and began to walk out of the kitchen,
"You know what" she said as I stopped dead in my tracks "you're welcome to each other" she said as she shoved past me and stormed out of the house.

Brooke's P.O.V
"So" Connor said as he leant on pushing me further into a corner of the room "what now? Do you want to dance?" he said as I glanced around the room,
"Sure" I said as he pulled me into the centre of the dance floor just as Hard Time started to play, suddenly more people joined us on the dance floor and we were pushed up against each other. Suddenly I felt Connor's hands slide down my back, I looked around the room and found a pair of  eyes looking back at me, Alex's. He was sat down on the sofa in the fair corner as he clutched a bottle of vodka for dear life, I pushed myself off of Connor,
"What's wrong?" He asked,
"Nothing, " I said "I'm just tired" I lied
"Fine" he said as he lead me to the door "back to yours it is."
The drive back was silent except for the sound of the radio,
"Thanks for the ride" I said as I unbuckled my belt only to notice that Connor was too,
"It's fine babe" he said as he came and let me out of the passenger seat,
"Thanks" I said as we walked up to the door, I glanced over at the Walker house only to see all of the lights switched off, "do you want to come in?" I asked as I let myself in,
"Don't mind if I do" he said as he followed me into the house "don't mind if I do."
I walked in to be bombarded by a little ball of fur,
"Hi, Kai" I said as I picked him up and kissed him on the head, "sorry, Connor this is Kai"
"Oh" he said as he took in the appearance of my Labrador puppy "he's cute, who gave him to you?"
"Alex," I said and immediate, regretted it as his body stiffened and his expression changed,
"What is it with you two" he asked as he approached me
"What do you mean?" I asked as I backed up into a wall,
"Do you have feelings for him?" He asked as he put his arms up against the wall, trapping me,
"No" I said before his lips crashed into mine. The kiss depended and he began to rub his hands up and down my body, I tried to push him away only to have him push me back, this time I tried to push harder only to be pushed back again. He broke off the kiss but kept me there,
"Where's your bedroom?" He asked his eyes fuelled with lust, after seeing my shocked and confused expression he laughed, "isn't this what you wanted? I mean you were flirting with me earlier, you invite me back to yours"
"Yeah, because you followed me in" I said in disbelief, he though about it before replying,
"Oh yeah" he said before turning back to me "well now we're here, we might as well" he said as he took hold of my arm and began to pull me up the stairs,
"No" I said as I pulled arm back "you need to leave" I said as I pointed to the door, he came towards me and grabbed my arm with more force and began to drag me,
"No" I shouted as Kai started to bark and growl at Connor "no, let go of me, let go of me!" I screamed as he pulled me back down the stairs and onto the sofa. Connor lay me down and began to kiss me whilst Kai barked in the background, I felt tears as they slid down my face, suddenly Connors weight was taken off of me, I sat up to see Alex as he punched Connor in the face repeatedly. I ran over to Alex's side and tried to pull him off of Connor, he stopped as I hid behind him as Connor stood up, blood dripping down his face from his nose,
"You deserve each other" he spat as he stormed out of the house. Alex looked down at me,
"Are you okay?" He asked as I picked Kai up to cuddle him,
"Yeah" I said as I buried my face in Kai, "I'm fine"
"Okay" he said as he nursed his bruised knuckles "goodnight" he said as he made his way to the door,
"Alex wait" I said as he turned to look at me, "will you stay with me tonight?"
"Of course Stalker."
