Denial {Grayza} {Fairy Tail}

Chapter One

Erza's P.O.V.

It started with cake. 

My Strawberry cake...

"Shut-up, you stripper!" Natsu yelled at Gray as I cut a small piece of my cake from the bigger portion of the piece. I stabbed the cake with my fork.

"I'm not a stripper!" Gray yelled back. I heard a bunch of commotion and loud noise behind me as I raised the fork to my mouth and took the bite. Before I knew it Gray was sliding across the bar taking my cake with him. I watched it fall to the ground and splatter. The plate shattered and so did my heart. My precious cake...

"Natsu! Gray!" My voice was loud and I stood up angrily. The bar stool I had been sitting on flew out from under me and I grabbed up Gray from the bar and dragged him behind me as I rushed in the direction of Natsu. I threw Gray next to him and placed my hands on my hips. "What are you two idiots fighting about now?!" I didn't give them a chance to answer before slamming their heads together, I then turned around and walked away to mourn my cake. My poor beautiful cake...

I sat back on my legs and picked up the small pieces of my cake. I had only had a taste of the thing, but it was the best taste ever. I sighed and turned and glared at Natsu and Gray who were now rubbing their heads. "Put some clothes on, you pervert." Natsu hissed at Gray as he got up and walked away.

I was sitting at a table cleaning one of my swords when I heard footsteps coming in my direction and a pair of eyes locked on me. I glanced up from my sword to see Gray on his way to me. I set my sword and cloth down when he reached me. 

"Hey, Erza." He said sliding in the seat across from me.

"Hello Gray." I replied sending my sword back to my armory. "Can I help you with something?"

"I was hoping you'd join me on a job." He leaned against the chair as he looked at me. "I thought splitting the pay could kind of make up for the cake thing earlier."

I thought for a moment, the cake thing? He wanted to make up for murdering my poor cake before I could eat it? That shocked me but a job and pay would be nice. "Sure, what kind of job is this?" I questioned standing up. I stretched and looked at him.

"Bandit job, it should be pretty simple." He stood up beside me and I nodded. We headed out of the guildhall. I headed in the direction of my home only for him to question my direction, "Where are you going?"

"Home. I have things to pack." I smiled happily and continued on my way. "Just wait at the train station for me."

"Alright..." He headed in the opposite direction as I continued forward. Once I reached my house I headed inside and began packing quickly. I piled my bags onto my cart for travel quickly then walked out pulling my bags behind me. I locked my door and walked down the streets of Magnolia to the train station. 

I stepped onto the platform to wait for the train after getting my train ticket. I glanced around for Gray. It took me a few minutes to spot him but when I did I walked to him. I stood next to him and he let out a sigh, "I should stop being surprised at all the luggage you bring to all of your jobs." He gazed upon my bags.

I shrugged and waited in silence beside my friend for the train. It took maybe another twenty minutes before that train arrived. In that time I had to yell at Gray at least twice to put his clothes back on.

Once we were one the train my luggage was taken from me and stored in the back with the rest of everyone else's bags. I took my seat across from Gray and relaxed gazing out the window as the train began moving and we started on our way towards the bandit hideout.
