Gray's P.O.V.

Holy shit. She kissed me. Erza Scarlet kissed me. I felt myself loosen from the shock and kissed her back, trying not to be rough or pour too much emotion back into the kiss, but God, I wanted it. She pulled back before I could go any farther with the kiss, and I fought back a growl. We had a mission to finish first.  I grabbed her hand and turned towards the others, Lucy giving me a knowing look. I stuck my tongue out quickly and Natsu grinned, thank God he didn't see anything or I would be picked on until next month.

"Yo Elsa, why you holding hands with Erza? You found her, lets go!" I sighed in relief at his obliviousness and continued, not letting go of her hand. Erza gently released my hand and I felt a pang of loneliness sweep over me. Throwing away that thought I continued making my way out of the hideout with the team. As we neared the exit, Lucy tugged my arm and nodded for me to follow her.

Stopping near the side of the wall, she turned and glared at me, as if trying to find a secret. I cocked an eyebrow questioningly. "What?"

"How do you do it? I mean, how did you get her to get with you? I've been trying to get Natsu to even acknowledge my presence in that way and you just managed to get her to kiss you. So explain!" She huffed angrily, obviously annoyed at my apparently new ability to get girls to like me. I was about to answer when Erza came over, shoving us forward and yelling something at Pyro, who was dancing in victory with Happy. I looked at Lucy apologetically, as if to say I would explain later, and followed my redheaded companion outside. Then we were free to leave to the guild.

Lucy kept stealing glances at Erza and I, probably to figure out how we confessed, but I wasn't paying attention. I was still trying to figure it out myself. I blushed deeply and thanked whatever God above that Natsu couldn't tell anything was up.

Erza's P.O.V.

We had reached the guild by sundown and as soon as we arrived, Juiva was there to greet us. My heart felt like it was going one hundred miles per hour. I had totally forgotten about her and her feelings for Gray. When she smiled and attacked Gray with a hug my heart sunk. I couldn't have Gray. I couldn't do that to a comrade of mine.

"Gray!" Juvia smiled happily at him and I bit my tongue. Jealousy coursed throughout my body and still I wouldn't say a word. Juvia's feelings were just as important as my own. "You found her."

"And I'm alright." I said with a slight nod at her. "You were worried about me, Juvia?"

"Not really, Juvia knows that Erza can take care of herself." The aqua mage just gave me another smile before she began hugging on Gray again who was just looking at me awkwardly.

"Well I'll leave you two alone. I have some things to do in the guildhall." I lied trying to just get away. The jealousy was really getting to me.

I was sitting at the bar about to order a slice of cake when a familiar blonde slid onto the bar stool beside me. She rested her cheek on her hand and looked at me, "How'd you do it?" She asked.

"What do you mean, Lucy?" I asked as Mira smiled at me knowing what I wanted.

"I mean Gray. How did you get him to notice you?"

I looked at her strangely for a moment. Why did she want to know? Was she also going to try to make me jealous with him? Juvia already did enough. I took a deep breath, "I didn't really do anything. I was just myself." I shrugged trying to keep my shoulders from tensing up.

"I've been trying to get Natsu to notice me." She continued. "I have no eyes for Gray, if that's what you think. I'm sure you already feel bad enough about Juvia."

Mira set a plate with my favorite strawberry cake in front of me. I picked up the fork and looked at Lucy, "How'd you know?"

"You tried your best to hide the fact that you're tensing up. You're worried about hurting Juvia's feelings, aren't you?"

"Am I that easy to read?" I looked back at my cake and cut a small chunk out with my fork.

"I know how your mind works. You care more for your friends and family than yourself. If Juvia being happy means that you're suffering, then you'll do it." She crossed her arms and rested her head on them. "I have the same problem with Lisanna. Only problem is I haven't told Natsu how I feel."

I kept silent then put the small piece of cake in my mouth. I ate it trying to forget about my friends for a little while. I think Lucy got the feeling I wanted to be left alone because she hopped down from her stool.

"One more thing, Erza." She said looking at me. I glanced over at her so she could continue, "Think about yourself just this once. Juvia will be okay." She put her hand on my shoulder then walked away. I let out another sigh and continued eating my cake.
