Gray's P.O.V.

I had made my way in surprisingly, making sure to cover my tracks. I only had one thought in my mind, save Erza and tell her the truth. The gang and I had split up and I could hear Pyro fighting half way down the hallway. Smirking, I hustled down the hall and turned left. This was close to where I thought I could hear Erza, and I relaxed when I found the dungeon doors. Bursting the doors at the seams, I glanced around for guards, before I spotted the red head, in all her undergarment beauty. She raised her head and smiled softly, and I started freezing the chains on her right ankle.

"You should have let me handle them you know. Then you wouldn't have been caught and I wouldn't have to save your sorry ass." She chuckled and I felt my face grow warm. What was this warrior doing to me?

" I thought we were a nakama, Gray. We work together, we fight together. Isn't that why you asked me?" I grunted at her words, moving to her left ankle to release that one so she could stand. I tried to keep myself distracted but I was angry. I was mad at her for pointing it in my face, angry at the guild for not teaching me to be more careful and at myself for not watching her closely. She rolled her eyes. God, she was cute. I blushed angrily and continued my job, eventually releasing her. "Gray, why are you so upset? We got this completely in our court. They don't stand a chance against us and you know it."

"I'm not upset because of that, Erza. I'm just upset that I was so stupid for not keeping an eye on you." I clenched my fists at my sides and closed my eyes, trying to control my blush. She moved closer and grabbed my hand, pulling me into a rough hug. I gulped, considering the position she had thrown me in and tried to find a way to push back from her. Opening my fists I gently pushed away from her hips, keeping my eyes trained to the ground.

"No need for you to be upset, though it's stupid you would. You didn't leave me behind on purpose and I can handle myself. I had them handled until you decided to get too close."

"Me? I was trying to help you!" I seethed.

"And why would you need to do that?" She questioned, cocking an eyebrow

"Because.... Because I love you damn it!" I yelled, clamping a hand over my mouth as we looked at each other shocked.

Erza's P.O.V.

I stared at the ice-make mage in front of me. I couldn't tell if my ears were deceiving me or not. Had this young man just spoken the words I had always wanted to hear from him? Did I attract the attention I always wanted from him? The stripping, handsome, amazing, Gray Fullbuster confessed his feelings for me?

I shook my head and looked at him a bit more clearly, "Is now the time for this?" I asked wanting so badly to tell him I felt the same way, but we were in danger. Confessions from us both at the same time would leave us in even more trouble and I wasn't even completely sure if I wanted to tell him. Ever since Jellal and I had decided we couldn't be together, I didn't want to be hurt like that again and I sure as hell wouldn't let it be by Gray.

His expression changed from I'm-Stupid-Why'd-I-Say-That to That's-Your-Reaction? I felt a bit like a bitch leaving it at that but we had to go.

I requipped before he could say anything and swung my sword in my hand a few times. "Let's go. We have a job to finish." I walked passed him out into the hall. I could hear chaos and I knew he brought Natsu along.

I ran down the hall, I could hear Gray's steps behind my own, and we went room by room taking out bandits until we reached the last room which I could only assume had the man that had entered the dungeon earlier. I smashed open the door and there stood one man with the biggest smile on his face.

He stood at about six foot tall with shoulder length blonde hair. He was dressed like the rest of his bandits, except he had a purple belt instead of a blue one. I rolled my eyes, the things bandits did to have their leader stand out always irritated me. It was never anything major, just a color difference.

"I should have known the ice mage would be back." He spoke with a soft quiet tone that I wasn't expecting. "And finally the great Titania and the other Fairy Tail wizards have finally stopped me and my bandits." He held his hands up and I had to question mentally why he was giving up so easily.

"Why are you giving in?" Gray's voice was harsh behind me. He took a few steps forward putting him in front of me and to my right. "You've worked so hard for everything."

"I know when I'm going to lose a fight. All my men are captured or knocked out. I am the only one left." He grabbed a dagger from his belt. I watched him do so, Gray didn't seem to notice. "Come, take me away, I'll go willingly."

Gray strode forward, I could tell he wasn't being cautious like he probably should've been. I rushed forward because I knew the danger. I pulled Gray back right as the bandit leader lunged at him. I threw Gray to the floor and the small dagger grazed my torso cutting through my armor. I didn't expect the thing to be so sharp.

I countered him quickly and hit him in the head with the butt of my sword. He fell unconscious and I put my sword away. I walked to the door. "Gray tie him up and bring him out front with his bandits." I said this before I stepped out and made my way to the entrance of the hideout.

I was standing there waiting for the officials to arrive when Gray came out. He tossed the bandit leader at my feet and I looked down. The guy was beat worse that how I had left him. "Gray!" I hissed looking up at my comrade.

"What the hell, Erza?!" He snapped getting closer. He was close enough that I could feel his breath on my face.

"What the hell to me? You weren't at all being cautious in that room!"

"I was distracted by what happened in the dungeon and you didn't even give me a real damn reply!"

I knew he was angry. I would be too. I held a glare on him for a moment longer before I grabbed him by the front of his shirt (I was surprised he was still dressed) and brought his lips to mine in a rough, but passionate, kiss.
