Subject: LolTurns out that I've decided to not go to the meeting for multiple reasons. My manager/editor wasn't too happy, but she's also my best friend. I'm pretty sure she can't be mad at me for too long, right? :)
Ahhhh, on a different note; I hate going to meetings, especially the type of meetings we've been going to. It's speech after speech about what I need to do or what I shouldn't do. These meetings make me want to stop writing my blog altogether. I'm just tired of being ordered around when I'm the one who started the blog and should be able to make the calls for it.
Have you ever had that feeling where you want people to listen to what you want for just a few minutes? I know what I want, and they don't. If they really want me to partner with them, they should stop long enough to let me talk once in awhile and tell them what I want and need in them.
Sigh. Anyway, I'll move on so I don't sound so whiny.
Thanks for your effort in trying to help me come up with blogpost ideas. It's appreciated, even if some of them might not have been very good :). At least you put in an effort to help me out.
About what you do, do you do anything with writers of blogs? Just kidding. I know you're not really into the idea of blogging for a living. Anyway, I'm glad I'm helping you see bloggers in a new light and that writing a blog isn't as stupid as you first thought.
Hope you've had a great time at your meeting. I need to sit down and write a blogpost now before I get distracted again.
Bye,
Emily
