Up above is how I picture Amaya in case you need a visual. The only difference is the eyes.
The next morning was absolute chaos at Haru's house. The alarm went off at 7:30 in the morning and instantly the boys began scrambling around, taking showers and packing swim suits. Amaya sat on the floor of the living room brushing her hair with Gou. Backpacks were scattered everywhere along sleeping bags, and food covered the coffee table.
"My mom said she'll bring some clothes for you today, she'll drop them off before we leave." Gou smiled.
"Oh, thanks." Amaya smiled as she tied her hair back into a halo braid and pinned some loose strands to her head.
Gou frowned and looked at the floor. "Are you doing okay?" Gou asked.
"Ya, I'm just nervous is all." Amaya chuckled, nervous was an understatement. She felt like she had swallowed a million hyperactive butterflies, that had been drinking Mountain Dew. "I mean this is our only chance to win nationals."
"No, I mean with your, well family situation." Gou clarified.
"Actually, I'm doing okay." Amaya frowned. " I thought I'd be more upset but I'm not. For once I have answers, and now I know that the separation wasn't my fault at all." Amaya rolled up her sleeping bag and smiled.
The peaceful moment was broken by Rene sprinting down the stairs with Nagisa chasing him with a toothbrush shouting something about toilet paper. Boys
"Guys come on we have five minuets until we need to be out the door!" Gou shouted as she walked out of the living room trying to get everyone ready.
Amaya chuckled and finished picking up, someone tapped her on the shoulders. Amaya turned. "What's up Haru?" She asked.
Haru looked away and a soft pink glow touched his cheeks. "I just wanted to know if you were doing okay." He said.
Amaya nodded. "I'm fine thanks."
"No I mean, since your swimming today." Haru scratched his head. "I over heard you talking with Gou."
" I'm nervous don't get me wrong, but we all are." Amaya bumped Haru's shoulder. "I'm sure you're nervous about racing Rene."
Haru paled and smirked. "I'm trying not to think about it." Haru admitted scorching his head.
"Yo love birds lets go!" Shouted Rene. Haru glared at him as if to say '**** off" Rene just rolled his eyes and walked out the door.
"Come on guys make lovey dovey googoo eyes later!" Shouted Nagisa as he stuffed some honey toast in his mouth and followed Rene.
Both Amaya and Haru blushed red. "We better go." Smiled Amaya, looking away from Haru and turning red from all of the attention.
"Not yet." Haru said.
As Amaya turned to look at him, eyebrows raised, Haru kissed her lightly.
"Okay. Now we can go." Haru grinned as he pulled her out the door.

They drove into the where city nationals were being held and stared in aww. The buildings were lit up in a bight, yet mesmerizing glow, and the towers reached the sky and kissed the stars. The glass windows an walls reflect all motion, making the city itself appear to be moving while cars, busses and people hustled about.
"Wow. " Breathed Amaya.
"It's amazing." Haru leaned up next to her and sat his chin on her shoulder. Together they watched the city and tuned out Rene and the Iwatobi swim club.
"You know there is a saying." Ms. A hummed. "They say that the city never sleeps, and when you find true love you will be like the city. Because reality is better than your dreams."
"That's beautiful." Gou smiled.
The car pulled up to a large hotel, looking straight up you couldn't see the top. Statues of horses stood proud in front and bell hops jumped from place to place with suitcases and bags. Rene said goodbye as he spotted the Simazika team and ran to join them.
"Now tonight I want you all to go nuts!" Ms. A yelled above the noise. "Just be happy we made it here," she gestured at the city. "Be happy we made new friends." She smiled at Amaya. "And be happy you have each other." Tears were now forming in her eyes. She took Coach's hand. "We could not be more happy to had been your teachers and coach. Rae, Nagisa and Gou, we will be overjoyed to support you next year as well. Haru and Makoto, I will miss you both so much. And Amaya, I know you came late, but I will miss you, please know you will always have a family with us." Ms. A was now practically crying. The club pulled her into a group hug.
"Now get out of here." She demanded waving her hand and blowing her nose. "Go have fun and get in trouble." She demanded.
The club decided to split up once inside the hotel. However, with all of them believing swimming before a meet was bad luck, all of the avoided the pool. Gou went with Momo on a tour around the city, Rae and Nagisa went to find food and Amaya and Haru were in Haru's room watching The Breakfast Club. Amaya was cuddled up to Haru, resting her head on his chest. Everything was peaceful as the movie played and the steady beat of Haru's heart whispered in Amaya's ears.
The mood was instantly killed as a loud thumping came from the door. Haru sighed not wanting to move from this position. "I got it." He got up off the crisp, white bed and answered the door.
"This is from a Ms. Amikata." A man said. He had slicked back, blonde hair and wore a room service uniform. He pushed in a table with a white table cloth, in the center was a wine cooler with wine sticking out of it. "Enjoy your evening." He bowed and left the room.
Haru picked up the card left near the wine. As he read it, his face turned a fire shade of red.
"What's it say?" Amaya asked. She could only imagine what their romantic teacher had wrote.
"N...nothing." Haru hid the small card behind his back.
Amaya got off the bed. "No let me see." Haru shook his head and ran, Amaya chased Haru around the room until she pinned him onto the bed and grabbed the note. Still sitting on him she read. You both love each other, just DO IT!" Amaya's face turned red also.
"W...wow. Ms. A is something else." She chuckled. Oh god.
"She's right about one thing though." Haru looked up into Amaya's glowing purple eyes. "Amaya, I do love you." Haru said softly.
"I love you too." Amaya blushed. "You're the best thing to ever happen to me."
Haru stretched his neck up, cupped her cheek with one hand and kissed her deep, he bit her bottom lip asking for entrance. It took her a moment, but Amaya slowly opened her mouth and let Haru explore her mouth. Carefully he sat up and laid Amaya onto the bed, flipping there positions. Their kisses became faster and more rough, Haru dragged his palm up Amaya's leg to her thigh, then out of no where he quickly pulled away and sat up.
"Why did you stop." Amaya asked.
Haru looked away, pain and regret masked his face. "Because if I didn't, I wouldn't had been able to hold back." Haru answered truthfully, his ocean blue eyes refused to meet Amaya's.
Amaya took his chin gently and made him look at her. "Then don't."
That night swim teams prepared, sirens howled, stars flickered and the world spun, but the two people in room 2E didn't notice. The only thing they cared about, was the love that grew between them with each passing moment and that would continue to grow throughout time.Okay seriously if you read this comment, I need opinions on this chapter.
