Chapter 10 Nationals Begin

Haru's eyes slowly opened as the soft morning light flowed through the windows and bathed the room in a cool light. However, Haru was instantly awake as he saw Amaya in bed next to him and as the memories of the previous night came flooding back, his face turned red.
Amaya's eyes fluttered open and she smiled, her eyes lighting up as she saw him. "Good morning." She said softly. As pink appeared on her cheeks.
"Hi. Is...is your body okay? I was kind of rough." Haru asked as he wrapped his arms around her.
"I'm fine." Amaya giggled. "But we need to agree on something."
"No one tells the club." They both said. They nuzzled together and had just gotten comfortable when a Moran decided to destroy their beautiful morning.
"Yo Haru!" Rene banged on the door causing both Amaya and Haru to jump.
Amaya and Haru sat up quickly. Amaya wrapped herself in a white blanket, grabbed her clothes that had been sitting on the floor and ran into the bathroom. Haru quickly slid on a white cut off shirt and black warm ups. I am gunna kill Rene! He though as he opened the door and glared at the burgundy haired idiot.
"What the hell Baka." Haru groaned and ran his hand back through his messy black hair.
"I know it's early, but have you seen Amaya? She never went back to her room last night." Rene asked.
"She probably went on a midnight run. You know she does that when she's nervous." Haru rolled his eyes.
"But she wasn't there this morning either." Rene insisted.
"Look man I don't know. Check the Cafe." Haru's gaze shifted to the bathroom door, but only for an instant.
Rene nodded slowly as if suspicious, and was about to walk away, but to Haru's dismay, Rene stopped and looked closely at Haru. "You seem... Different. Like you're...happy or something, but like weird." Rene had known Haru for years, and he could tell when Haru was hinding something, like now.
"Dude, don't make this weird." Haru scoffed as he mentally banged his head against a brick wall. Just leave already!
Rene narrowed his gold eyes.... "Oh. My. God." He stated, pronunciating  each word carefully. His mouth dropped open as he saw the tangled mess of sheets inside Haru's room. Haru was normally a clean person.
"What?" Haru had to fight not to turn red as Rene looked past him. Oh please let him not know. Begged Haru.
Rene grinned evilly, his shark teeth flashing in The morning light. "Hey Amaya don't be late!" Rene shouted into Haru's room.
All he heard in return, was a small embarrassed eep. Rene chuckled and grabbed Haru's shoulder. "You better pray someone isn't calling you 'daddy' in the next nine months." Rene laughed and walked away.
"Ass hole." Amaya spat as she walked up behind Haru fully dressed.
"Yep." Haru agreed. "You better go before someone else catches us." Haru took Amaya's hands and gave her a small peck on the cheek.
"See you at breakfast." Amaya smiled as she ran towards her room.

"Let's goooo, let's go let's go, Ra-e!" Cheered Iwatobi as Rae swam the 100 meter butterfly. He hit the wall taking third.
     "Yaaaaa Rae that's it! You did it! OH glory!" Shouted Nagisa as he jumped up and down doing a happy dance that made him look like a dying chicken.
    "Boy 100 meter freestyle, first call for boys 100 meter freestyle." The announcer called. The stands were packed to the point where some people had to stand. People cheered and horns blowed, as swimmers from all over competed with each other for a chance at victory.
    Haru stood up and removed his white and blue Iwatobi sweat shirt. He eyes slowly locked onto Rene from across the stands.
    Amaya could tell Haru was nervous, there were scouts in the stands, his parents were there, and he was facing off against his biggest rival and closest friend.
    "Haru, just swim free." Amaya grabbed Haru's hand and looked deep into his ocean blue eyes.
"Right." Haru smiled as he turned to leave.
"WAIT!" Nagisa screamed as if someone had died.
Haru froze and turned around to face Nagisa's large concerned face. "What is it Nagisa."
"Isn't Amaya supposed to give you a good luck kiss or something?" Nagisa asked as he turned and looked at Amaya.
"Nagisa, I don't th...." Haru began to sigh but was cut off my Amaya's lips touching his lightly. Haru adjusted his head and kissed her back.
"Now you can't loose." Amaya grinned. Even though they were surrounded by millions of people her eyes sparked at Haru as if he were the only person in the world.
"Never." Haru promised blushing pink as he backed away from Amaya, reluctant to break eye contact, but he had to go, so he quickly headed towards the changing rooms, grinning like a foul.
A cat call whistle sounded and Amaya whipped around to Makoto's taunting. "Shut Up!" Amaya glared before anyone could say anything.
Nagisa, Rae, Makoto and Gou looked at each other opened their mouths and sang. "HARU AND AMAYA SITTING IN A TREE K I S S I N G!"
"Oh real mature guys." Amaya rolled her eyes at her friends' taunting but smiled anyway as she watched the excit to the pool, waiting for Haru and Rene to emerge.
"Amaya?" A man's voice came from the stairs, Amaya thought she recognized that voice, she turned around to see a man with blonde hair and green eyes, he looked up at her from a few stairs down like he was about to cry.
"Dad?" Amaya croaked.

I know I know, way to short and it took to long. IM SORRY! Homework is a beast and collage and it's hard to find motivation to write when no one comments. (Stares at reader) soooooo if you want stuff to come out quicker comment! Or don't complain.
